The sun sets into the red sky, over the village of Polligamon. Slowly the lights turning of in the houses and shutters coming down on the shops. The noise of the pub down the road clattered down the Main Street past all the houses and children tucked up in bed dreaming of candy and unicorns. However, little did anyone know that down a back alley filled with bins, a mysterious figure stood, waiting. Suddenly, another anonymous figure approached him. He looked up and said “Your here.”

Dane woke up with a sigh. It was another dreary day with his stepmother, Alice. They lived in a cramped terraced house in London     and Danes dad was rarely at home. Today was no exception, it was just then at home. He sighed again and put on his Everglades Secondary uniform and went downstairs to breakfast. Alice was in the kitchen as usual and when Dane entered the room she gave him a hateful stare. This usually resulted in an argument, and sure enough, twenty minutes later they were bickering over everything from the latest fashion to his school results from last year!
