Eyes

Martin was calmly strolling down the streets of Bath in his wheelchair on a sunny day. Birds were chirping, crickets were cricketing – it was almost a perfect day. That’s when it happened, darkness descended upon the world as the once beautiful streets turned into an unknown land. One by one menacing red dots appeared: eyes… there was was one choice, RUN! Martin quickly pondered the streets looking for an opening, “ah ha” he muttered as he entered a large building. Broken glass, peeled plaster, this place must have been out of order for a long time. CRASH! BANG! Now Martin wished death itself he discreetly hid behind a fallen set of stair awaiting this nightmare to end. Will it ever end? Will I live? These questions dashed through his head, but he had a bigger problem. They were coming.

Winter wonderland

Turkey transform colours

Mouths water due to the aroma

Children wait upon their feast.

Baubles suspended

Presents lay under the tree

Stars illuminate.

The fire is on

Nights are freezing in the snow

Animals hiding.
