As the sun was rising, Tim,Tom and Tina were slowly waking up. Suddenly, they heard a big flap above them. Who or What was it? It was Karma the messenger owl. There was a piece of paper that said “ The burrow had been destroyed.” It was from their mother. Tom hoped that mum was ok. They had to run. Tim checked the map and as soon as they were ready they started to head north. Karma had vanished in a blink of an eye.
As they started to head off, they realized that there was sand all over the place and the shelter was nearler covered with sand. By midday, they had reached the end of Rocky Hills and there the hedgehogs had paused. Ahead, they saw what looked like Raven house.
Six hours later, the brave but terrified band found themselves at the entrance of the 16.8ft tall building. So, Tim led Tom and Tina round the walls until they found the entrance to a fox or badger door. Frightened, the three hedgehogs went through.
The darkness of the tunnel pressedin and the air was rank with the fould odour of a fox. Tim led them until they finally made it to the end of the tunnel. The Rven house was a faultless place to hide. Lala wouldn’t be able to get here. We are safe while we are here.
As night fell, Tim sought out the best place to hide. Deep in the alleyway, he found an unoccupied stable. It was as spotless as the whitehouse. It would be the best place to have a night’s rest. Tina snuggled up and soon they were fast asleep.
Tim creeped out of bed into the alleyway. They were starving. He kept to the shadows and stared round. Rita, who was a zombie, lived in Raven house. Singing loudy, the zombies had a party. Outside, Zombies were snorting and snarling. Lala was terrible: the zombies were even worse. Tim saw out of the corner of his eye a box full of food. Now they wouldn’t be hungry.
At that moment, a silhouette appeared and he bellowed “ Oi, what yer doin?” A brunk, scabby face, 75 year old man was trudging towards him. His yellow pus-filled eye glinted. What was the man doing?
The street zombies each picked up a ragged, busted, old blade and began to make their way towards the moving silhouette. Tim waited hoping that he wouldn’t see him.
