The prologue

You’ve probably been to crystal-on-sea. In summer you probably sat under the Apple blossom tree reading one of Enid Blyton’s “Famous Five”. When you came, there would be an ice-cream van, a paddling pool for the little ones and crowded summer shops. You probably got took to the outdoor theatre by your grannie whilst you were eating ice-cream. Its always like that… In the Summer.

Bun in the Winter, you probably felt the cold wind. Try being here in the winter when the snow covers the streets. Try being here when it’s raining so hard you have to stay inside. Mot many people come then. Even the locals stay inside everyday, but they have a good reason.

Look more closely

It doesn’t have to be

The soft golden sand laying on the beach,

A red apple from the tree,

The ballet dancer’s beautiful twists and turns,

Or the beautiful Cherry Blossom swaying gracefully in the wind,

It could be

A bluebird’s soft glide in the air,

A blueberry’s softness,

Or the beauty of a German Shepherd’s fur,

Take more notice

I can see beauty for miles,

Beauty is in everyone,

And where theres darkness

Somewhere there is light
