The question and answers poem

What are precious? A golden Rolex and an ancient family heirloom.

What are scary? A mean mummy and your potential doom.

What are useless? A half eaten red apple and a wallet with no money.

What are fun? A game of football and playing with friends.

What are boring? A bit of maths along dull book your teacher recommends.

What are happy? Having no school and getting a gift.

What are sad? Being hurt and walking home injured with no lift.

What are fortunate? Finding money on the floor and getting a discount.

What are unfortunate?eating marmite and having so many siblings you have to count.

What are sweet?popping popcorn and a red rose.

What are sour?Toxic waste and getting a covid vaccine dose.

world war two

I want to paint the taste of disgusting dust zooming rapidly in my disgusted mouth as i hear the sound of scared babies crying meanwhile all i can feel is the heat of the angry flames from above that are trying to devour my worried soul.

I want to paint the sounds of heavy bombs dropping with scary power they hold as i smell the raging flames as my desperations get out is injured even more as stare at the strong steal blockage wondering when it will end?

I want to paint the taste of cloud smoke that fills the burnt dead air as i stupidly sniff it up my nose. Then the noisy plane drops heavily too the ground giving me a great big fright as the blitz ends.

I want to pint the end of world war ll.

I want to paint…

I want to paint

I want to paint

The feeling of blowing candles on my beautiful blue birthday cake

, of the scent of my mother Mary’s perfect perfume piercing

through the air , the taste of fish and chips on the sparkling

special sea, the feeling of splashing swiftly through the

chorine filled swimming pool and the scent of a soothing

shampoo just brought from a shop

I want to paint

The silence of the waiting room of a heroic hospital

,the taste of a warm pastry getting soaked in my

saliva, the scorching summer’s day melting a mouth

watering wonderful ice cream and the sight of a towering

mountain dwarfing anyone that climbs it
