The Fierce Dragon

The dragon pauses

like it’s senses hunters coming to slay it.

While it pauses it’s malevolent eyes

stare at the entrance to see if anybody’s there.

The sharp, pointy teeth

as sharp a lion’s canine tooth were ready to rip up the hunters until there was only bones.

The glistening scales

shimmered in the beaming sun.

It prepares it’s blazing fire

to repel the hunters it sensed before.

It’s long swishing tail

secures the gems in the cave from robbers.

It’s razor sharp claws

were prepared to rip people up into pieces.

It’s fluttering, scaly wings

were going to launch the dragon into the open, clear sky.

It’s tough, steely skin

disappeared into the murky, frightening cave.

You are…

You are a playful collie

running with joy down a grassy hill.

You are a sneaky fox

ready to pounce on your delicious prey.

You are a tiny shoot

ready to grow into a beautiful rose.

You are a wooden gate

waiting to be opened and closed.

You are a plastic bag

ready to be carried shopping.

You are the bright sun

shining on people to keep them warm and happy.

You are a fluffy cloud

ready to poor down sadness.

You are lego pieces

waiting for someone to build you into a beautiful construction.

You are a pink, wooden dollhouse

waiting for someone to play with you.

You are a fat, healthy cow

grazing in the open field.

You are an old lamp

waiting for someone to use you when it is dark.

You are cold frost

waiting for the sun to melt you into water.

You are the open sky

watching people happily play below you.
