There are many types of dragons but one of the most eye-catching is the fire dragon. If you manage to get a glimpse of this intimidating creature you will either want to scream or a few people strangely find they want to be friendly towards it. Unfortunately, this magnificent creature is being hunted by poachers – they are often dragged out of their natural habitat which is lava pools. These mysterious creatures will protect themselves no matter what danger they are in and the majority of fire dragons are over protective towards their babies.
The Fire Dragon gets its name from the hues of its scales, which are in varying shades of red. Adult males often have a black stripe of scales that start at the crest of their heads and continue down their backs. To the Chinese, this dragon is the most desirable of all the dragons as they possess magical powers. This versatile dragon is capable of soaring to the highest heavenly heights or diving to the darkest depths of the sea. On the one hand shrewd, healthy and full of vitality, the dragon also has a mystical side, intuitive, artistic and strangely lucky. However, Dragons can plunge pretty low and suffer from depression, becoming irritable, stubborn and impetuous. The dragon’s mystical allure may become a bit too otherworldly at times, making him or her difficult to get close to. Typically, this leads to the majority of dragons having a string of mates. Believing themselves invincible, dragons must beware of excesses, for with their uncommon strength, they can harm themselves, or scorch their wings.
