Marina stared around the hall. Floating candles hovered in mid air dripping with deep crimson blooms. Cobwebs clung onto the wall. The air smelt stale. From an uncertain place came a noise. It sounded like someone was scraping a fork against a plate. The sound was deafening. She had no time to find out what it was. All she knew was that was not what she was looking for. But in the corner of dead town hall there was box; inside the was a pendant she was seeking.

I stared around at the marvellous things surrounding me. The cave was immense. A damp smell lingered in the air. Massive crystals of all colours and sizes glinted like glass in the beam of the torch. They had intricate lines of darker crystal running through them like veins. Some even had insects, preserved in their depths for thousands of years. On the roof, there were stalactites as long as an elephant is tall. Protruding from the roof, the stalactites resembled ancient stone swords. In the center of the cave, there was a huge lake.
In the middle of the lake there was a large rocky island, but it was barely visible because of the thick mist surrounding it like a blanket. The water was incredibly clear but it was so deep that I could not see the bottom. In the shallower parts, I could see reefs swarming with life.
CLANG! The sound of a stone moving and bashing against a crystal cut through the silence like a knife. With a jolt of adrenaline, I darted behind a pure gold crystal, the cold surface pressed against my back…
The Smell
Jayden stared into the abandoned flat , he walked in . Inside there were cobwebs on the windows and the air smelt disgusting , a broken chair with its 4 legs broken of the smell lingered . Jayden followed the smell it lead to an old t-shirt he picked it up there were fingers . So he let out a scream and jumped out of the abandoned flat window.

Charli looked around the hospital.The rain trickled from the window looking like blood.Marble window panes had been fitted in the hospital to give the royal effect.If you looked out of the window you could see high security and all the people that were passing by.Single beds which had silk duvets and pillows had a uncomfortable look, even though they used the finest silk.Chandeliers were suspending from every room.Whenever someone walked passed the lights would automatically go on.Pure white floors would be mopped every day so they gave a shimmer in the light.Even though this place looked friendly it still gave some patients a shiver up the spine.

Jake and the sinister place
Jake stood nervously trembling with his knees in a sinister palace with cobwebs and creepy ghosts.The creepy palace was haunted with flashing pumpkins.There was sinister knights with protected armour. The weather was stormy and the the time was 2:00 am the midnight.He couldn’t stop shaking his knees because it was sinister.
