The dragon leaped skilfully on

To its prey.

It’s ragged teeth aggressively bite

Down on to its enemy.

It’s empty eyes stare at its food

Ready to pounce.

It’s jet black  wings stretched

To take flight soaring

Into the luscious sky.

You are an infected toenail

catching on my bed sheet

You are a healing bath smothering

 my infected toenail.

You are the sound of music

blasting from a car.

You are the impossibility

 of  a wolf

 without a howl.

 You are the impossibility

of a poor man’s wealth.
