MY RAINBOW MASKS

I wore the sparkly, emerald, green mask and saw,

a salty, cucumber getting chopped up,

a lizard running over the hills,

and a turtle swimming in the murky water.

I wore the creamy, white mask and saw,

a  paper getting ripped up,

a  little bit of sugary milk flowing in the tea,

and a cloud roaming in the sky.

I wore the cotton, pink mask and saw,

a pig oinking at a bird,

a cherry blossom tree swerving in the wind,

and a tongue wiggling around.

I wore the buttery yellow mask and saw,

a simpson dancing on the bed,

a lemon getting squeezed into a cup,

and a duck pecking at a sunflower.

Mask of Rainbows

Mask of Rainbows

I wore the red mask and saw …

Berry red roses dancing in a field

And a warrior with rubies on his shield

I wore the orange mask and saw …

Blazing fire spinning in the sky

And a ginger taby’s blinking eye

I wore the yellow mask and saw …

The scorching sun swaying softly

And a perfect primrose playing prettily

I wore the green mask and saw …

A lime with it’s bitterness

And an explosive emerald with it’s glitteriness

I wore the blue mask and saw …

Beautiful blueberries that’s juice swirled

And brilliant bluebells that twirled

I wore the purple mask and saw …

A slice of the fallen midnight sky

And violets that grew large and high

The Rainbow of Masks

I  wore the blue mask and saw

the diamond light blue ocean,

the light blue soft sky and

juicy fresh blue berries

dangling on the vine.

I wore the purple mask and saw

amethyst shining in front of my

eyes, lavender blowing in the

meadow and fruit dangling

on the vine.

I wore the yellow mask and saw

the golden sun shimmering in front

of my eyes it was like forgiveness,

and stars glowing it was like a

dream.

I wore the white mask and saw,

snow falling down from the pale sky

with crystal snow flakes and the

freezing air.

I wore the green mask and saw

the green spiky grass

with emerald shimmering

in the sky, juicy

fresh grapes.

The multi-coloured masks

Putting on the blue mask coloured like the sleek sea

I saw the sea as deep as could be,

I saw the smooth sky shooting up high,

I saw sadness slithering inside.

Putting on the pink mask as caring as a careful couple

I saw a lovely law,

I saw a helpful heart perfect for persistent people

I saw a door where people stay forever more

Putting on the black mask while hiding in the small shadows

I saw an onyx proving your not honest

I saw charcoal making my life fall

I saw mad marker making things darker

The Rainbow of Masks

The Rainbow Mask.

I wore a yellow mask and

I saw sunflowers, the sun, and fire too

Light, and powder, electricity with a router

Autumn leaves, paint, and a yellow tire.

I wore a red mask and I saw

Hoods and hats flying by

Ink, tents and dye

Red ramen, crayons and tomato soup.

I wore a blue mask and I saw

Jack hammers, blue balls and drawings on the walls

Shiny windows, cars and blue blankets who had a fall

Blue shirts, water and an entirely blue mall.

I wore a white mask and I saw

sheets of paper, white rails and radiators

white walls, doors and bathroom stalls

mayo bottles and white baskets and even a white door.

The rainbow of Masks

I wore the white mask and saw clouds in the shining sky above me, smelling roasted marshmallows in the distance and writing in my notebook.

I wore the blue mask and saw  blue bells shining in front of my eyes, the wind blowing in my face and eating juicy blueberries.

I wore the green mask and saw leafs shining in front of my eyes, the grass blowing in my face and apples dangling on the tree.

I wore the pink mask and saw rose quartz shining in front of my eyes, the smell of blossoms in the air and eating a dragon fruit.

I wore the yellow mask and saw tigers eye shining in front of my eye the smell of buttercup and an ice pop melting on my hands.
