The hog!

The hog is like no other creature, it was recently discovered by a group of scientists. You would never recognise this extraordinary creature.

This weird animal has very interesting features: plum coloured eyes, hairy Green skin, hooves and gallops on and of lily pads! You could never recognise this animal because it’s a small unique animal.

There awkward skin blends into grass, moss and rocks. They are very scary because if u find them or they notice you they will leave poison on the surface of the water or on rocks and Lilly pads.

Lola accidentally sneezed and frightened the man.The man jumped and  slowly strolled towards Lola. All she could hear was his footsteps tapping on the shiny wooden floor. Lola was fretting. Suddenly she knocked into the door and the door freaked open revealing a dark passage way with a small light at the end, almost like a flickering candle.

Lola didn’t know what to do; if she stayed back, the man would catch up with her and she would be in big trouble. She knew she shouldn’t be there. But the door was open now and she really wanted to see what was down there. ‘What was the right thing to do’? She thought. It was too late. The Man had already clocked her and approached her yelling “hey, what do you think you’re doing here all by yourself?”. Lola froze; now she was in trouble!“I’m sorry” Lola said quietly. “I was just having a look around but I got lost”.“I suggest you find your way back out quickly” said the man, “or else!”

Lola picked up her bag and before her body could carry her, her legs had already set off and before she knew it she was home and dry out of the Emporium.

For days Lola and her friends ran past the emporium when in the middle of a game of tig, and it was always closed. One day she ran past and immediately stopped, the door to the emporium was open. She ran straight through the door.

She was so shocked the pupils in her eyes slowly grew and grew and grew. Lola saw a deers head on the wall in front of her eyes. In the distance you could see a old man sat at his desk with his fountain pen, swaying his hand while he wrote in his notebook.

Go and open the marigold door.
Maybe you will see a room of ducklings the colour of honey.

Go and open the coral door.
Maybe you will see the blush ballet shoes dancing at you.

Go and open the cherry door.
And see the ruby rose petals blowing in the wind.

Go and open the indigo door.
Look at the wonderful sky blue butterfly’s swirling and curling around you.

Go and open the sage green door.
Watch the fern green frogs bounce at you.

In the room of time,

a hand pointed out at me.

In the room of buzzing bees,

I was stung into action.

In the room of books,

the pages flicked dust at me.

In the room of nature,

the flowers bloomed.

In the room of pencils,

the words spoke to me.
