The Ember Pegasus

The Ember Pegasus

Do you know where Ember Pegasi live? Or where they hunt? As a result of lockdown and global warming Ember Pegasi have been travelling around the globe and exploring new countries.

The Ember Pegasus’s wings are forged of fire only found in caves 10,000 feet below the earth. In addition to its fiery mane and ferocious teeth the Ember Pegasus can fly into the air and leave a trail of fire wherever it goes.

Whereas many Pegasi live above ground the Ember Pegasus live deep down in caves (where they build cities out of molten rock). Ember Pegasi, which are extremely territorial to other Pegasi but usually live in colonies. Don’t go adventuring down these caves because they are so hot by the time you get half way it will be more than 500 degrees hotter than above ground.

The Ember Pegasi are omnivores. They eat Loganberries, wild rabbits and are often found in farmers land harvesting the wheat. They catch the rabbits by camping in the trees and pouncing on the rabbit while it’s scavenging for food. When hiding in the tree the Ember Pegasus collects Loganberries and searches for farms.

Ember Pegasi are usually quite timid but can sometimes be territorial. Maybe if you’re lucky the Ember Pegasus will let you stroke its fur (which means it trusts you).  If it has its offspring with it won’t let anyone near because it thinks you’re trying to threaten its young.

If you find these magnificent creatures its best to keep them secret because who knows who could be hunting them. If you encounter one it’s best to back away slowly.

The inferno sun

The inferno sun

What are toxic? The venom from a yellow spotted lizard, a bottle poison and a poison dart frog.

What are silent? A stalking snake, a crocodile submerged under murky water and an antelope carcass.

What are heart breaking? A pet being put down and a fox eating a bunny.

What are hopeful? Knowing that we have a vaccination and seeing people roam the streets once again.

What are shiny? A newly forged, crystallised sword, stars glinting in the night sky and sun rays shining down.

What are dull? Rusty bolts sitting down on a ledge, the inferno sun being covered by the bumpy moon and a rusted sword in stone.

What are ferocious? A T rex’s jaws as it clenches its prey, a wolf as it howls in the moonlit cliff and a fox breaking into a chicken’s pen.

I have never

I have never landed the flip on the trampoline

but I have leaped across the trampoline.

I have never read any Harry potter books,

But I have seen the 1st movie .

I have never seen a gun

But I have seen a nerf gun.

I have never read Roald Dahl

But I have read a Tom Gate book.

I have never climbed a mountain,

But I have climbed on my climbing frame.

A star ship soars across the sky

A star ship soars across the sky.

I have never captured a glimpse of the stars glimmer in the full moon,

But I have seen the Northern Lights in Lapland.

I have never cycled 1000 miles,

But I have raced my dad down London road.

I have never set eyes on a star ship soaring across the sky,

But I have gazed at the TV whilst it shows storm troopers blast droids.

I have never hiked the great Mount Everest,

But I have clambered up the snowiest tree in Lapland.

I have never held Godzilla whilst it breathes it’s atomic breath at Kong,

But I have clasped my ginger kitten – Wallace.

I have never…by Logan @belmont

I have never seen the Amazon river sitting, getting towered by the tall jungle trees surrounding it,  but I have seen the dark damp river Witham.

I have never heard a WW2 bomb explode at day , but I have heard popping fireworks  in the deep dark night.

I have never visited Paris , and stood under the Eiffel  tower on a hot summers day, but I have visited Spain and stood under a massive hotel.

I have never held a shield ready to charge into battle like a Roman , but I have held a knife ready to chop some carrots in my kitchen .

I have never ridden a horse on the beautiful Skegness beach , but I have ridden a scooter down Alma park road .

I have never walked on the emerald grass of Wembley stadium, but I have walked on the short green grass at Harrowby.

I have never felt a sneaky snake slivering in my arms at Leicestershire zoo , but I have felt my cats arched back.

I have never watched a climber easily  climb Mount Everest on a cold winters day , but I have watched the FA cup final in 2020.

abstract rooms

In the room of happiness I can see smiley faces everywhere

In the room of sadness I can see rain coming down from the sky like when tears come down, your face.

In the room of anger my face went red like a tomato.

In the room of confusion I can see my face everywhere I look.

In the room of fear I hid under my duvet.

In the room of love I can see my family everywhere.

In the room of emotions I can see me being loved, hated, confused, sad and happy.

I want to paint

I want to paint…

I want to paint

A rogue raven rapping like Eminem,

A fat ferret fighting in the wilderness like a wild tiger tugging on its prey’s tail,

A dangerous dog dashing away from its owner as fast as a cheetah,

Killer kittens kicking cats off a cliff like a footballer,

I want to paint

Three green gaging goblins deviously dawdling

A big baboon breaking the branches on a brown tree

A digging Dracula hiding from the light

Vicious vultures towering over acrobatic apes like Big Ben

Tree

I want to paint the night sky with a tree which has a owl on it.

I want to paint a car meeting that has supercars in it.

I want to paint kids playing at a park.

I want to paint a meteor on fire that’s about to hit earth.

I want to paint a x-ray machine looking at Iron man.

I want to paint Iron man fighting a fire breathing dragon.
