The letter from harry

Dear ma,

Thanks for the pack of sweets and veggies. I ate them all on the trip here. I started to tear up when you waved goodbye so I just waved back, a tear of sadness rolling down my freezing, red cheek.

I am enjoying it here in Birmingham. The farmer, Mrs Gramber, sends me to a tiny narrow school. There are only sixty of us in the whole school. She sends me with a wet, cold egg salad sandwich and a piece of cucumber as a treat every morning. The teachers are okay. They can be selfish and cruel at times. I have already been hit on the head with a ruler six times. But I have something bad to tell you. Birmingham is being bombed as well. Last night, I saw a bomb in the dark grey clouds, and then heard a deafening boom. I’m not safe here. I want to come home

I miss you,

Harry

An apple is

An apple
Is as red as falling autumn leaves,
Snow whites blood.
A blossoming tree.

A pencil
Is as still as a soldier,
A stick of led of ideas.
Brain-user.

The moon
Is like a silver finger print,
Like a clear puddle.
A sliver of an owls feather.

A candle
Is as bright as the shimmering sun,
Like a flame of guide.
Winter’s melter.

A frozen lake
Winter’s camouflage,
As smooth as new concrete.
Ice skaters dream.

The ship of paranormal

On the ship of paranormal, the sails flap like ghosts in the cool, wet wind.
The screams of trapped souls flicker the eerie lights.
The footsteps of dead men march towards you.
Portals to other dimensions lure in locked rooms.
Skeletons load the cannons and Boom,Boom,
BOOM!

The creature chapter 4

Chapter 4

I gasped as I jumped out of the chair. It screeched its deafening howl. Showing its teeth, it slowly walked towards me. It’s bones were cracking and jumping in its back. I stared in horror as it ran towards me. I ran to the door. All of a sudden, it slammed in my face. Trapped. I was stuck. I was doomed. Suddenly, I heard someone pounding on the other side of the door. I recognised their voices immediately. The Beymer twins. Did they come to save me?”Help!” I shouted. The sea monster was coming closer. Closer. “ HELP!” The knob in the metal door slowly started to turn. The feet of the creature were slapping on the concrete floor. The door burst open and in came the Beymer twins. “ We came to save you. Come on.” We went through the little shaft in the ceiling and were on the sand on the beach. We were free! All of a sudden a slimy hand reached out of the sand and grabbed me. “Wait, Help Nooo-,”. But I was already under.

The creature Chapter 3

Chapter 3

I woke up. I was in a room. It was full of water! I was drowning. Drowning. “ HELP,” I tried to call but only bubbles came out. Was I captured by the monster? Did it want me dead? I didn’t know. All I knew was that the Beymer twins hadn’t captured it. Surprisingly, I saw a red button on the ceiling. I tried to reach for it but my feet were chained to the ground. Did that button drain the water? The chains didn’t look so secure. I could get out of them easily. I rattled the chains until they came free. I swam up and pressed the red button. Nothing happened. I pressed it again. Nothing. Again. Finally, something happened. The water, very slowly, started draining through the drain. I’m free!
I opened the door and was revealed to a chair. I was covered with my seashells! Suddenly, the chair spun around and there it was. The creature. The sea monster.

The Digdugamander

The Digdugamander is a newly found species and is a cross between a reptile and a mammal. You can find it at the cursed legend bay at stoke-on Trent.

The Digdugamander is very easy to spot and recognise. It always comes out of quicksand pits underground and has eyes as red as berries. It’s always covered in dirt and rocks. But don’t go anywhere near it, because you might just be it’s prey. It’s teeth are as sharp as razors and it’s screech is deafening.

It lives underground in quicksand pits or dirt mounds. The Digdugamander lives off of mice, rats, birds, and hamsters. It’s not very friendly to its prey and is very aggressive to humans and other creatures that are not his kind. But if he’s got you in his grip, it’s too late because none of his kind exist anymore to call him. They were all hunted down by poachers over a century ago.

The rivington pike

It doesn’t have to be the dazzling moonlight above Rivington Pike, shining down to make unusual shadows and the dinosaur over the river, eating the blooming flowers.

It can be the leaves flowing from tree to tree or the nettles flowing in the wind, ready to sting someone in the face, wondering what hit them.

Be as curious as a cloud; the endless pieces of sun realise how much they take over and even the leaf drops for someone.

The dragons poem

On Monday, I found a leathery, soft piece of dragon skin, glimmering like a shattered piece of glass on the dull highway.

On Tuesday, I walked to the depths of the deep musty dragon cave, the roars of the dangerous dragon coming from within.

On Wednesday, I saw the fire and smoke coming from the dragons rage, threatening everything around it.

On Thursday, I touched the most venomous dragon in existence, the venom burning the skin on my palm.

On Friday, I tasted the healing potion to dragon’s diseases, the flavour burning on my tongue.

On Saturday, I heard the raging roars of the shadow of the dragon in the dark, musty cave, flames producing from the darkness.

On Sunday, I dreamed of the dragons going extinct, flames bulging from the Greenland of their habitat.
