Marie walked to Dukes cage and saw he was gone! Marie looked at the front door and  it was open.Marie ran outside and saw Duke chasing a girl.Marie ran towards them,into the forest with them.The girl stopped running and Duke slowed down.”Duke stop!”shouted Marie.Duke stopped in his tracks and looked around.Marie walked to the little girl”don’t move” said Marie “what’s ur name?” Said Marie.”L..Lilly”she stammered.

Marie took a step back from the lion the lion said down.Mrs.Hill came down.Marie heart was beating fast.Mrs.Hill said”his name is duke” “he’s yours’’ said Marie “yes.?’’ Said Mrs.Hill ‘’How do u have a pet lion’’Said Marie ‘’i found  him when he was a cub’’said Mrs Hill ‘’And u didn’t give him to a zoo?’’said Marie ‘’ i just started to bond”said Mrs Hill ‘’anyway it’s time for lunch”said Mrs Hill. Marie made a samwich and ate it still in shock about the lion.After Marie went upstairs and read a book.An hour later Mrs Hill made dinner”Dinner is ready”shouted Mrs hill.

Marie Sutton didn’t want to leave but when she was on the train she was fine.When she arrived she thought she was in London.

Mrs.hill took her to her new home.It was lovely,but she hated her step sister May.She was horrible!

Marie when upstairs and read a book.Marie smelt pizza cooking,Marie walked downstairs hoping the pizza was for her. But no!May her step sister was sitting on the sofa eating the pizza!Marie ran to Mrs.hill and told her that May ate all of to.Mrs.hill told her to go get more from the downstairs pantry.So Marie went downstairs and was happy to get more.But she heard scratching on a door she opended it and it was a….HUGE LION Marie ran to Mrs.hill and told her but Mrs.hill said it was a cat!
