As the sun rose, the captain was already handing out her orders. “Emma go get wood for a fire. NOW!” Demanded the captain.  Emma went down to the island and started looking for dry wood. 

Emma collected 2 full bags of wood. As she was walking she heard a weird sound.

The captain went back in the skyship. Emma was still collecting wood. She heard the sound again.she walked over to the bush that the sound was coming from. A little fluffy bunny came out of the bush. “ I heard you talking about Josie Wigglesworth, I can help you find her,” said the bunny, handing Emma a piece of paper.

 “ beware of the sky goblins young lady,” said the bunny. 

“Guys,  guys,  guys I know where Josie is,” said Emma. emma realised that charlotte was missing. The captain told emma to find her. Emma looked every were for her. She eventually found her in a bush.

The captain gathered everyone up and set off to find josie. 

Chapter 2 

Over the next few days, the skyship sailed through heavy rains, hail and wet sloppy snow. Snow was still on the floor, their shoes were still wet from walking in snow for 4 days. As they looked over the skyship, they saw an island they had never seen before. Emma awkwardly lent over the skyship as she was curious what the island was like. The island was full of trees and had a small hut. Emma called over the captain (who was steering the ship) to look at the mysterious island. 

The captain was so focused on the island that she forgot about steering the ship. As she ran to the wheel the ship crushed… 

Would they be ok? 

Seconds later, the crew merged from the wreckage. They had a few scratches but they was ok.  

They decided to go look around and explore the place and get their emergency camp kit.

Searching for a lost  explorer 

Travel  to the edge of the moon, 

And trap moon dust in a magical balloon. 

Pour the moon dust onto the surface of a spoon.  

Travel to the grave yard,

As the trees wave,

While people lay in their grave.

Travel through a storm,

As there was a cloud swarm,

Travel to the scorching sun,

And see the glistening box of fun, 

And see the planet that spun.

I am writing to you today to ask if I could have a job on the sky-ship aurora.

I hope you have a job for me on the  Aurora for a young, talented and amazing girl like me. I will always assist the crew with what they need and what you need. 

First I am a qualified first aider and I have recently finished and passed my YFAs (young first aider exames). This means that if anyone gets hurt then i can help them and if the chef gets burnt or  cuts himself i will be able to help. 

Second I am funny, this means that if someone is not the happiest I can help hear them up and  so that there are no sad crew members slowing us down.

Furthermore, I am skilled at steering a ship which means if the captain is ill I can take over steering the ship. Also if the sky-monster comes at night then i can steer us away.

Prolog

You’ve probably had fun family trips on skyships. Summer, you would have flown over the perfect green grass with smiley flowers and the flawless city that looks so small because of high up you are. When you flew you would have been in a pale blue heaven with a cloudy background. You have probably been taken to the best view of a majestic island.  

Chapter 1 

The crowds cheered as the skyship Sparkle ascended into the heavens with a cloudy background. The engines growled as the crowds gazed up to watch Sparkle lift off. As the skyship was above the clouds, it was no longer visible but you could still see people trying to spot the skyship. 

Charlot and Emma sat down and listened as the random gusts of wind blew. Emma looked down and saw the people walking and driving. Emma thought that all the cars were ants they looked so small. As charlot was sitting her hat blew off and started flying alongside the skyship. 

Peering into the distance, they watched the crowds, waving to the skyship, disappear.emma started feeling dizzy as she sat down. Would she be ok?

After a few hours, Emma and Charlot realised that they were above the sparkly, clear, blue sea. As they looked down at the sea, Emma said “ this view is the best!” as she was sitting back down. 

In the hours of darkness, the weather turned against them. Hail hitting against their tan skin, rain almost flooding the sky ship. The hail and rain quickly turned into snow. When they were walking around on the sky ship the snow was settling fast so their shoes were wet. 

Advice for an explorer 

Have you thought about exploring the world? If so then take a look at the following advice. It is important to know the item and places you are going or want to go. 

While travelling through an empty forest, never, no matter what, pick up an apple from the floor if you see one as it could be a trap. Bumble-bees which are normally in their hive, are always needing to be looked out for because if you get in their path they won’t be very cute friendly creatures. During sunset be careful of trolls and goblins. If you bring a cucumber they won’t come near you as they are allergic to them. 

When travelling through dangerous forests, beware of mushrooms: poison mushrooms which if you get to close it will jump out and poison you; pointy mushrooms, that the pileus is i the shape of a point, if you touch it it will send you to hospital for a few months; posest mushroom, they all have a spirit inside and if you get to close the spirit will haunt you for the rest of the trip. 

A magic river that no one can enter, if any one enters they will regret it deeply; as it will cause third degree burns. 

Therefore, if you do want to explore the world make sure you follow theas steps and brewer the dangers.  

On the Island of Ducks,

I saw a river bed-skimmer swimming to its home.

On the Island of Joy,

I noticed mischievous monkeys swinging from tree to tree

 like children on an adventure playground. 

 On the island of Violets,

I found a meadow of violets smiling as they danced in the sun, a beautiful fragrance floating through the air. 

On the Island of Distress,

I heard panicking parrots flapping round as they find food,

fish swimming as fast as tigers, watch them go. 

On the island of White,

I observed a crowd of clouds flowing through the air alongside sky-gliders, whilst lambing-sheep awaited for their newborns.  

Dear Super Natcher, 

                                I am writing to persuade you to stop being a superhero. You should return to reality and spend time with your family.

My first reason is because when you attempt to levitate you destroy the ground. You have caused so much damage that the council do not have enough money to reaper.

Additionally all the wind is blowing the heads off of flowers. Taking away the beauty of peoples gardens.

I would like to argue that you frighten young people with your attempt of catching your enemies . 

Further more im concerned you are taking up to much space with your trees. 

To summaries we can not count how many times you have ruined the town. I think you are not so good at being a superhero. If I were you I would permanently retire being a superhero.
