Sun-Bloomer

Flower,flower,

why do you only bloom

In the summer but not in

The winter?

Flower,flower,

why do always

look  so pretty?

Flower,flower,

why do you not like

rain?why do you die

so quickly?

Flower, flower,

why do you have different

colored petals every

time?

Flower, flower,

why do you grow

outside?

The high-hopper

I push and toss objects around,

I’m a vegetable-nibbler, nose-twitcher,

I’m a fluff ball hopping in daylight,

I’m the prey of most predators,

I sometimes make squeaky noises,

I might appear in forests or woods,

I jump on and off the furniture,

I will never let go of my toy carrot

Chapter 1

Bella Greenstan did not want to be separated from her family and friends

She really missed Bolton and her old school as she glared out the window.

Whenever she went to school her teacher told her that she had really neat writing.  Every time she was sad she sat down in front of her bedroom window and a tear would be dribbling down her little cheek. She missed her family a lot.

The first day of school Bella was really shy but it was good that Miss Betty’s daughter went  there .The teacher was really kind  and gentle. Her name was Miss Julie. Miss Julie noticed that Bella was a really happy girl and she was Miss Julie’s favorite student . Bella always helped Miss Julie and spent time with her as well. They always had fun together.

Days turned into weeks and Bella had to help Miss  Julie all the time. She also had to do chores when she went home. She had to clean the dishes, tidy up her room and feed the chickens. Bella was really tired after that so she sat down and wrote something in her diary and relaxed.

Outside there was a big strawberry farm that Miss Betty made jam with. Miss Betty also kept bees to make honey and had a nice pretty flower garden. Inside was a nice comfy sofa and the bedrooms were so clean that she never wanted to leave the house. There was a nice play room for Bella and Miss Betty’s daughter.

Each morning Bella always sees  Miss Betty leave the house and go inside the forest. Bella always wanted to see her secret but she never knew what it was. One morning Bella decided to go and see Miss Betty’s secret so she put on her slippers, tiptoed downstairs and creeped to the forest. She saw Miss Betty feeding her secret … A randier! She couldn’t believe her eyes!.

The Lonely Bike

The rusty, sad bike leans against the short, Birch Tree,

having absolutely no one to play with.

The creaky, rubber wheels squeaked like a mouse,

as though begging a man to give him some delicious cheese.

The old, hard handle bars look like mammoth tusks,

poking out of the ancient bike.
