A mask rainbow

A mask rainbow

I wore the white mask and saw

Cream coloured clouds as white as snow

Shivering sheep in the cold wintery fields

And shiny snow owls swooping speedily onto their prey

I wore the black mask and saw

Crows as dark as coal squawking silently

The midnight sky rising rapidly blinding the earth below

And caves crumbling and crashing from the inside of the mountain

I wore the green mask and saw

The bright broccoli coloured grass grabbing glistening shoes

Miners in the shaft emerging with the glowing emeralds from underground

And the trees toppling over in the raging wind

I wore the orange mask and saw

A fiery blaze shooting out of an erupting volcano

The sun burning up everything like lava

And the old stars exploding into ashes

I wore the purple mask and saw

A bunch of great grapes waiting to be eaten

The bottom of a rainbow slowly disintegrating

And the fireworks lighting up the sky on bonfire night

Question Poem

What is cold? a frosty winter lake, like biting into an ice lolly, the cold seas of the pacific.

What is hot? A warm campfire flickering in the night, a colossal volcano dripping lava from its head.

What is loud? A fighter jet speeding through the air, a T-rex roaring loudly.

Six things in my knapsack for adventures with my unicorn

  1. A bag of snacks, nuts and berries, for my unicorn and me.
  2. A map showing places yet to explore and showing places we have already discovered.
  3. A small stick for playing fetch with my unicorn because he gets bored easily.
  4. A torch for shining into dark nooks and crannies.
  5. A chair, that folds up to the size of a rubix cube, for when I need a break.
  6. I would take a small flint and steel so that I can light a fire to keep warm and maybe even do some cooking.

the nature pegasus is the most rare of all

it is as strong as a tiger

and as big as a bull

it lives half on land and half  in the rivers

when hunters come his skin turners to a stick like body

find them in a message on a phone.

Search among the trees with a dog

or even on your morning jog.

the shadow!

“Mich breakfast sleepy head” but there was no answer. She charged up the stairs banged on the white messy door “Mich this isn’t funny open up!”Still no answer. Mich was half way down the gutter pipe and his clothes falling down onto the floor. Mich dashed to Chilet forest to finally escape the grasps of his annoying parents. He reached the forest to find a fast flowing river and tall spiky trees.Mich was determined to find the nature dragon. Not long after he fell to the floor and snored  like a pig. A few hours  later Chilet forest didn’t have a blue flowing lake or any life. Behind him he heard twigs snapping, trees falling and saw a shadow. Heading straight for him…
