The Day I Met A Bear!

I remember that day well! We were on holiday and decided to go camping in the Canadian Forest near Thunder Bay. We pitched our tents in a clearing in-between some trees by the lake.

We decided to collect some wood for the campfire when we heard a rustling noise behind our tents. I stopped what I was doing and froze. Behind the bush I could see a big brown ball of fur. It was a bear! Help!

I screamed to let my parents know not to come close. What next? What should I do? I was still frozen but didn’t have much time as the bear was walking into camp. I had 2 minutes to think and climbed up a tree to escape the bear.

The bear then camp into camp sniffed around the tents and eventually wandered off. What a lucky escape!

Wiki – The Wollowmahog

Wollowmahog’s can be found in  tropical  rainforests in the Amazon. Wollowmahog’s only eat one type of food which are pineapples. The noise the Wollowmahog makes is a grunting sound which can scare lots of birds all around the rainforest from far distance.

The Wollowmahog has a purple and blue skin, its legs are fluffy, the feet are panda feet and it has red stripe on the top of its head, in between its third eye. Another way you can  recognise the Wollowmahog is that is has five stubby legs and so when it walks it has a hobble.

There are only 20 Wollowmahogs left in the world!

An Act of Kindness

I entered into my Swimming Gala last weekend at my local pool.  I felt very nervous as it was my first swimming competition and there were lots of people in the changing rooms. While I was waiting I met an older girl called Roxanna who had participated at many competitions before and she was much older than me.

Roxanna helped show me where to go, explained about the start buzzer and when to line up for my race. She made me feel less nervous because she was so kind to me.

Roxanna came first in her 50m Butterfly race and I came second in the 25m Backstroke race. I was so elated as it was my first race and I hope to do many more.

Help I don’t feel well, to all humans out there!

To all the humans out there, I am planet Earth and I need to write to you urgently.

You are destroying me!

Please plant more trees to help me breathe and turn off your car engines as I am choking. Stop digging large holes you are scarring me and it hurts.

You all need to tidy me up and stop putting rubbish into my seas, rivers and oceans to look after all the living creatures that live on me.

When I die, you will die too, so look after me! I am sorry to write this but time is running out as I have a temperature and don’t feel very well so please read my words carefully.

Best wishes,

Mrs Planet Earth

Text to Charlie Bucket.

Hi Charlie,

I hope you are well.  Keep your spirits up!

I know you are looking for Willy Wonka’s Golden ticket. I would advise you to search for as many coins as you can under the sofa or even on the ground, as money can fall out of people’s pockets.  Do not despair, keep on trying your best and you will succeed!

A man called Mr Slugworth will approach you and ask you for a Gobstopper from Mr Wonka’s factory….. don’t do it! You will get a far greater reward. Good luck!

Advice for the King

Dear King Charles III,

I wanted to give you some advice now that you are King.

Firstly everybody needs more holidays, so we can relax. Also at school we need to have more science lessons so we can be really good scientists and save our planet!

On your birthday it would be a nice thought if you gave all your subjects a present so they are happy. Everyone should receive a 50p Coronation coin, if they behave.

Lastly, please let 10 families live in the Royal Palace for a week.

Thank you very much. From your loyal subject.

If I were invisible!

These are things that I would do if I were invisible.

Step  1. Creep up and eat lots of chocolate.                                                                                                                  Step 2. Go to bed very late every night.                                                                                                                      Step 3. Do anything I like because people can’t see me.                                                                                            Step 4. Watch films I can’t normally watch  like ‘Wednesday’.                                                                                Step 5. Play as many video games I want to play.                                                                                                      Step 6. Go on holiday on an aeroplane without tickets.                                                                                            Step 7. See a musical and go to the cinema as many times as possible.                                                                Step 8. Stay in bed and sleep in and stay in my pyjamas all day.

These are the best things about being invisible.

A trip to Mars

Dear King Charles III,

I am writing to you because I am going to Mars next week!  I am taking a trip to Mars so I can see if aliens live there.

I am Captain Natasha and on our trip I need to check that our rocket is safe.  The food that we will bring with us are healthy snacks so we don’t get sick.

The journey is going to take about a year or so! We will explore Mars and if we see any aliens we will ask them if we can have some Mars rock to take home.

See you in 2025!

From your friend,

Captain Natasha
