Chapter 4 (Emporium)

Agana ran like she never had before. Wishing that she never went to the house, she ran and ran.Cautiously , she ran to a maze of corn. Desperate for help , she crawled until she was on the other side. The beast was not  there..but behind her. Roaring for flesh, the thing chased her until his legs went numb. Agana smiled and did a cheerful, little dance. She walked behind trees and massive boulders until she was at the cottage once again. She went to the place where she first came in. The door which was supposed to be there was gone.”What!,”Agana screamed,”where is the door-? It was there before!”

Her voice cracked in agony , she was about to make her t-shirt wet.Her eye vision went blurry and her face went red,her eyes went sore. All she did was shout “ NO MORE!” . It was silent for more than three minutes. When she stopped crying her t-shirt was stained with her warm tears. She did not want this pain. All she wanted was to go home. She was about to give up but she looked into the dark glimmering sky and wondered why she heard a voice from a cloud. It was like her mother telling her not to give up. She stood up and was desperate to get out of this room. She looked around and wondered where the door could be. “Surely there would be one, right?” she asked herself . “But of course there would be a door! There’s always an exit if there’s an entrance!” she said. There were three things she thought of: the pond; the old oak tree; a rabbits warren or the cottage. She walked to the oak tree and inspected it : she climbed it ; kicked it ; touched it ; hit it ; licked it but nothing helped the door appear. She walked away and tried to find a warren. When she did find one it was under an oak tree whose leaves were orange like earwax. But the warren was far too small for even her foot to fit. So in anger she kicked the tree and walked away with smoke coming out her ears and boiling like a teapot. She was either gonna check the pond or the cottage. But she decided to check the pond. She walked again to the pond and accidently fell right in . She tried to swim up but something was blocking it like a force field or a chunk of ice. She swam down and saw the door. She was swimming to it like an endless path was leading her. It was like a never ending water cave .

As she finally reached the door she turned the handle and felt right in.She was wet and cold. It was a real challenge for Agana cause she always had a fear of water since she was four.”  Nope, never doing that again!” she shouted.

She was walking with seaweed in her black silky hair. The taste of seaweed was in her mouth. She soaked the red carpet with all the water from her clothes. Some water was still dripping from her hair. She was finally near the curtains and walked through them. She was greeted by Lucas with a disappointed look on his face.”I think I told you to NOT touch the book!” he screamed , “If you wrote something which the book could not fix,it would be a disaster!”. His eyes turned dark and his face looked angrier than a bull seeing a cape coloured red. “I’m sorry! I thought that book wouldn’t do anything! I thought it was stupid” she said. “YOU ARE STUPID , I TOLD YOU NOT TO TOUCH IT! BUT YOU HAD TO! THE DANGER YOU COULD OF CAUSED TO THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD WOULD NOT BE FIXED BY THE BOOK , ME OR YOU”He shouted in anger . “GET OUT AND NEVER COME BACK , AGANA!” he shouted again. The fear in her eyes , she was about to cry.

She turned and walked to the door . The last look she gave him was with a tear. The bell rang and she was gone . Soon , she sat on a brick wall which was just in front of the emporium. Then the ginger cat walked to her with  matches and gasoline . “Burn it , burn the emporium! Burn it with all your anger on Lucas” The ginger cat shouted . “Why Mr. Kitty? Why should I do that! “ she asked . “Desire to burn things on fire”he said,”Lucas kept me trapped in that emporium since I could remember!”

Aganas eyes glimmered , she grabbed the gasoline and spread it all around the emporium. She smiled , she grabbed the match and set the match on fire. It sparkled and made the emporium surrounded by fire . Like the unfurling portals of a vermillion-coloured flower; the flames rose up and engulfed the palace grounds, these beautifully treacherous torches against the dark night sky.Her eyes sparkled and she just sat on the wall and watched it burn into ashes with Mr. Kitty .

“Its my time to go then Mr. Kitty , It was a pleasure to meet you” she smiled. She jumped off the wall and walked home . But Mr.Kitty followed her . Until she opened the door to her house . She was on the second floor of her house and Mr. Kitty was on a tree watching her from a distance.

Chapter 3

Chapter 3

She knew running wasn’t an option. Agana closed her eyes and waited for it to attack. The bear launched at her , she threw her head and woke up in the cottage . “What ? this bear-” she whispered,” it attacked me ! “ . Confused and concerned , she looked out of the window and saw she was five foot high in the air. She turned around and realised she ‘woke’ up on the bed in the cottage . She was concerned, in the book Agana never wrote the ‘five foot thing’ so “Why did this happen?” Agana questioned. Something went wrong. She turned to the window again , her eyelids were red like she was crying in her sleep and couldn’t see anything.Agana saw out the window : the rabbit looking worn out and dead ; the bear sleeping peacefully ,just like it did not attack her, ; the neon flowers ,which gave out a sweet scent , withered and the foxes on the tree stump looking terrified and scared. Nothing seemed normal like it used to be. “I might be over-dramatizing! But this doesn’t make sense ! Everything looks different. What happened? Who did this?” she asked herself knowing no-one would answer.

She turned around and walked to the stairs that would supposedly lead her downstairs. Agana walked quietly, downstairs it looked normal . She didn’t know she wrote the second floor in the magic book. But if she did she didn’t even notice it when she first came in. It was like,it was a dream! Everything was fine but outside it looked like a horror film or something. She walked to the door and twisted the silver-grey handle . SQUEAK-KKK , the sound of the door made the noise echo through the house and also made Aganas ears ‘ bleed’ . “ Hm..Strange I don’t remember the door being that squeaky” she gasped “could someone be here?” . She walked outside, carefully and quietly but everything looked normal outside then it did inside. It was as usual :the flowers were not withered ; the foxes did not look scared ; the bear was attacking the hive of bees and the rabbits were jumping and full of life.“The place had sunk back into its wonted peace,” she exclaimed . Agana assumed her vision was blurry so she blinked twice and rubbed her eyes. “ Never mind, I’m just seeing stuff again” she suggested. She wanted to explore more so she did. She saw a path and followed it. Five minutes later, she discovered : a duplex house with a mossy roof and vines with white flowers fading into red ; a bench , which was infested with flies and ants, and a boomerang made from the riches and purest bones of a wolpertinger. She carried on walking, she discovered: a beautiful , pristine lake just running through hills in the distance ; the singing of ******** was so synchronized it was almost as if it had been practised a million times and some roses taller than the tallest sunflower she had ever seen.

Agana was curious , she walked to the duplex house that looked like the house her father shot himself in . She didn’t know how she remembered it . She turned the rusty silver handle and walked inside . She was greeted by a “Welcome back!” mat . She walked on the hard wooden floor and remembered this was her home that she used to live in but it was slightly better and renovated. She took off her shoes and walked up the stairs . Agana tip-toed to her room which was titled “ Princesses room! Do not enter “ . Agana smiled and opened the door. The room was all shades of pink : she had a quilt which was dyed rouge-pink ; a bubblegum-pink doll house ; a blush-pink carpet ; a fuschia-pink pillow and loads more . Agana felt something was off.. It was like someone or something was in the house too . A growl was heard by her downstairs, she knew this thing was a blood-thirsty creature . The grumble of the beast stomach was just shouting for flesh and human blood. Agana smelled the rotten smell of the beast’s mouth. Agana was ready to fight. Something stopped her. The goosebumps spreaded like a rash . She clenched her fists and slowly walked down the stairs . The beast was in the kitchen looking for raw chicken or raw humans.

She was on the first floor and looked through a mirror on the wall facing the kitchen . Its silhouette looked like a hunched back wolf . She stepped closer and looked through the mirror at a better angle . The beast’s neon red eyes lit up the dark kitchen . The beast-wolf had large metal chains wrapped around its legs and neck . The greenish fur on his back was matted and dirty .” It looks like a swamp monster,” she whispered,”the smell does not help. Its burning my nose!” . She shivered and her legs couldn’t hold her body up . But she was brave , she thought of a plan which would kill the thing. She thought she would be ‘overpowerful’ for that thing , but she was wrong.. “ grr..” said the beast.

The beast turned his head and looked at her , “ hah my plan is working-” she shouted , “ come get me !” . The beast turned his whole body around and the power in the house powered off . She could not see anything but the beast . Its eyes glowed like a full moon. His teeth were sharper than a knife , his flesh was darker than the night (his flesh was black) , its nose was the size of Aganas fist , and the beast’s tail was half Aganas size (the beast was massive). The plan stopped working, if she went in the kitchen she would be cornered and eaten. His posture was bad, it looked just like her dads. She stood there , there right now . She waited for the beast to attack . Face to face, his blood shot eyes did not make her feel braver. She touched her silky hair and tied it into a ponytail and launched at the door. The beast followed her. It chased her like a tiger catching its prey .

I would take the ___ of

I would take the sound of,

A charcoal magpies cries

The cold squeals of an arctic rabbit

And the hissing of a venomous snake

I would take the taste of,

The sticky melting toffee

The ice cold-vanilla ice cream

Or the body-warming chocolate milk with whipped cream

I would take the touch of,

Soft,delicate candy floss

Some glossy lipstick case

Or a pure golden vase

I would take the smell of,

Some soap being made

The tasty bacon sizzling in the boiling oil

Or some chocolate cake calling my name

I would take,

The sad howling of the mighty wind

A tear from an abandoned river

Or a cough from the drying sea

(extra)

I would take,

A polished, silver piano of a famous musician

A pure gold vase covered in silver patterns

Or a bright bolite

I would take,

Some crabs having a surprise birthday party

Some cats eating smarties

And some children breaking up at a party

I would take,

A cursed spell book from a witch

A rising ditch

And some money from a person which is rich

I would take the smell of,

Luscious,lilac-lavender tea

A strawberry shortcake shared for three

Or a carrot cake for me!
