In the night, Tom was sitting against the wall in a mood, crying on the floor whilst Jack was walking back and forth trying to come up with a plan.
Jack circled around the room where there was a window that was open. So he put his head out of the window and checked to see if anyone could help them get out the attic but it was too far for anyone to hear them. Jack looked for a loose floorboard but he couldn’t find one either.
With every minute passing by, Tom was on the floor crying and Jack said, “Why aren’t you helping me instead of sitting on the floor? You could be helping right now but no, you’re just on the floor crying.”
Even though he heard Tom, he just kept sitting on the floor with a gloomy face. In the end it was only Jack and the trap door in the attic because Tom was on the floor.
Angrilly, Jack took out his anger and shouted at Tom, “I can’t do this by myself so maybe you can actually help me.”
“It isn’t any good. We’re trapped here forever. We’re never ever going to get out of the attic. Are you dumb?”
“But you haven’t tried yet so maybe you could help!” shouted Jack, standing with disappointed eyes and hands by his waist.
Just as Jack and Tom were about to close their eyes, they heard a loud thump on the ground. They slowly got up and looked out of the window. Looking back at them they saw Trage’s long snake body. Excitedly, Trage hissed, “Come on, I’m coming to help and you need to give me some wind ups!”
As soon as Trage was full of energy and laughter, he opened his tiny mouth and dropped an old, rusty key into Jack’s hand and Trage whispered, “It’s time to get out of here.”
Jack opened the trap door with the key. Jack put his head through the trap door and looked left and right and then said to Tom, “The cost is clear, let’s get out of here!”
Jack and Tom carefully got down and slowly walked down the stairs. They looked around and sawn the uncle eating and drinking in the living room. The living room was on the right so they went to the left where the back door was, so they sneakily and quietly crawled to the back door and then they opened the back door slowly and carefully crawled out and went to the side of the house. They kept on clawing until they were sure the uncle could not see them. They ran as quickly as they could and Trage slithered across the ground beside them.
Prologue
Trage, who was in his incredible airship, looked behind him and caught sight of a bright silver airship quickly following them at an intense speed. He noticed the doors opened on the ship and he saw lots of guns in the airship ready to take fire at any moment. Suddenly, he heard gunshots and it was loud as fireworks in the night sky. As the scary airship got closer he smelt burning and then his airship was on fire and then the airship started spinning. In a panic, Trage hisses loudly to see if anyone could hear him but no one did.
Chapter 1
In the middle of the night, Jack slowly made his way out of his dormitory at Camly High. It was scary because he didn’t want anyone to catch him or wake up. There were security guards in the distance and he only just got out of there and ran straight into the bushes and took a deep breath.
Suddenly, he got a phone call from his dad (Matt Holyfeild) saying that his mother (Annie Plate) had crashed into the ocean in her airship. His mother’s last words were ‘Whatever you put your mind to, you can do,’ and he thought it is a great saying.
Interestingly, Jack saw something moving in the bush next to him. It was Trage, Jack couldn’t believe it. He hadn’t seen Trage in years so Jack ran up, kneeled down and gave him a big hug. To make sure it was really Trage he told him to hiss at him twice because Trage is Jack’s Mechanimal snake. Trage hissed, “Please wind me up, I’m running out of friends.”
Underground Lizard
Amazingly, the underground lizard is a lizard that has very soft skin. Interestingly, the lizard has fur for hair. Additionally, their length is less than 5 cm tall and they have a weight of 8 grams. Surprisingly, the lizard has a fire colour for their skin so that predators leave them alone. Unfortunately, people try to hunt these lizards down because they are extremely rare. Interestingly, they like to eat plants and worms. Their home is in a small cave underground where they make cosy nests. Surprisingly, their behaviour is bad because as soon as they see people they try to bite them.
The Wintercup
The windy Wintercup is flapping its colourful petals like a wonderful bird of paradise.
The pink beautiful wintercup is gaming like a pro gamer.
The wavy, Wintercup has lots of roots as spider legs, in the dirt underground the surface.
The soft, Wintercups leafs may soft but watch out because it is as sharp as a wolves teeth.
The long, Wintercups stem is as long as a mermaid’s tail.
The fragile Wintercups petals are as fragile as a piece of paper.
The Masks of Time.
I put on the grey mask and I saw,
The destruction of Pompeii,
The volcanic ash rising above me,
Bones sinking sadly into the ground.
I put on the mask of Mexico and I saw,
The Spanish melting the Mayan’s gold into bars,
The day of the dead festival taking place,
And the people of Chichen Itza staring at me.
I put on the mask of art and I saw,
Vincent Van Gogh painting his famous sunflowers,
Andy Warhol making his Marilyn Monroe pop art,
And a mysterious man making graffiti art at night.
I put on the mask of the future and I saw,
Flying cars like aeroplanes in our modern day,
Robots serving people at restaurants,
And people zooming at hundreds of miles an hour on hoverboards.
I wore the fiery red mask and I saw,
the ferocious lava firing out of a volcano,
the field of poppies remembering the fallen soldiers,
the fire engines going to put out a burning building.
I wore the bright yellow mask and I saw,
the dangerously hot sun,
the crunchy autumn leaves,
and the glorious sand which covers the beach.
I wore the brown mask and I saw,
the tasty chocolate sat on the table,
the bark on a Christmas tree ,
the majestic sparrow effortlessly flying across the sky.
I met a boy named cosmic,
his eyes were endless voids
in which stars danced like candles in the night,
his skin was a dark void which had scattered galaxies,
his voice was empty and almost silent,
like the freezing vacuum of space.
his heart was beating at 100 parsecs a minute
I met a girl called hope,
she was as bright as a sun
her heart was a summer morning,
her smile was warm as a campfire
and her prescence as great as a ray of sun after a cloudy day.
I met a man named fossil,
his skin was streched over his bony frame
his knuckles were narled as a tree
he had no hair and on his desert of a head
and his arms were shaky and grey.
I met a girl called machine,
her eyes were glassy and cold
her fingers ticked every second
her skin was chrome grey
and her hair as stiff as wood.
The next sunrise, they packed everything in a rush and they were ready to leave but out of the blue, they heard…
“ Swamp hills have been destroyed. I repeat Swamp hills have been destroyed. Over.”
It was the walkie talkie that their mum had packed. They wondered what it was for a few seconds but then they figured out that it was coming from the bag so Popkit looked in the bag only to learn..
“The Gorm are heading South East. I repeat the Gorm are heading South East. Over.” Now they knew what it was, Popkit grabbed the walkie talkie and swiftly flung it back in the bag.
They grabbed the bag and rushed out of the scene. The Gorm were heading South East, THEY were heading South East! 3 hours later they stumbled upon ice rock mountains. They were astonished by how much snow there was! They could have got frostbite! Eventually they found the jackpot the demented minions frost cave.
The snow fell harder and they couldn’t survive in the snow so they snuck in. The snow fell so hard that it hid there identity. They got in at the perfect moment because there was a blizzard which would finish their story but they were in and survived! It was a miracle! They were inside but they ate all the food last night and had nothing left except a flagon of milk. They were in a predicament and it wasn’t good. The Minions had ice swords that would freeze anything it touches including Gorm. They were safe from the Gorm but still had a threat! They found a place to hide and stayed there but soon they were starving so popkit went to get food…
Popkit stayed by the shadows hoping and praying that he wouldn’t be seen. Out of thin air he spotted what looked to be an abandoned stall that still had food so Popkit raced to the stall and took 3 loaves of bread, 6 small carrots and some water.
As he was sneaking back he spied out a minion watching him and out of the blue
“Hjm godonie ofentio!” Even though he couldn’t understand what he was saying he new the minion was angry because he pulled out his sword and he turned purple! …
How To Slay A Minotaur: The Simplest Guide On Earth.

Have you just been given a Minotaur to slay? If so, how would you complete it? It is a life or death situation. However, if you read this set of simple instructions and do what it says, you will have a better chance of survival.
First, find a stable – structured ship, a trustworthy crew and a map ( a compass if needed ) for a wonderful journey to Crete. Do not forget to put your black and white sails in the ship.
Next, having a successful voyage to Crete, have a luxurious and tasty banquet because it could be your last. Also, enjoy it and eat all you can because you will need a great amount of energy to kill the Minotaur.
Then, go find a maiden and fall in love with her. Do not marry her though because she is your enemy’s daughter. But if she offers you any sort of equipment, accept it with no hesitation.
After that, the maiden you fell in love with will most likely get you a long, sharp sword and magic thread. You will need these because it will help you defeat the Minotaur and help you get back to the start.
The next day, gather your crew together and go into the maze. The crew will be too scared to go and fight the Minotaur so they will be depending on you to go and fight it. Tie the thread on to the door and unravel it as you find your way to the beast. As you go to find the beast, be very quiet and walk away from the noise because the Minotaur is probably sleeping.
Once you have found the Minotaur, the best way of killing it is slashing his leg, then stab it in the heart. When it is on the ground and you think it is dead, prod it in the head a couple times. Now you know it is dead, so for celebration chop off the head and take it back to the city.
After that, carry the Minotaur’s head back with you by following the magic thread and show it to your crew. As soon as they approve of it, run back to the ship.
Eventually, get on the ship and dump your maiden. Top tip: change your sail to white so your dad does not jump off a cliff and die. Once you are back at the city, celebrate the death of the Minotaur. Also, hang the head on the wall for decoration.
Minotaur’s are dangerous creatures: half man, half bull. No one should take on this task without any understanding of how powerful and deadly these creatures are. If you were too, there is a high risk of gruesome death. However, if you know what’s coming up, you have a better chance of life if you have the equipment.
