What is happy? My little brother’s laugh, a dog’s excited bark, and children playing in the playground.

What is sad? The boy who lost his toys, the old lady who can’t cross the street, and a lonely tree.

What is quiet? A woman’s whisper, a mother’s tiptoe while her baby sleeps, and the soft wind.

What is loud? A rockstar’s guitar, the wild thunderstorm, and a baby’s scream.

What is beautiful? A baby girl’s smile, the color of autumn trees, and the shining night sky.

What is ugly? The scary clown in the circus, the messy dinner table, and the broken and battered toys on the living room floor.
