Walking to school
On Monday, I touched the frosty car door as it felt like a sharp, spicky icicle stabbing into my hand.
On Tuesday, I found a hidden cave of wonders which was guarded by a manikin monkey.
On Wednesday, I walk to the frozen river and glare at the seagulls as they peck ferociously at the ice and the swerving of the frozen river made your eyes freeze.
On Thursday, I run to the ferry and hear the chains chugging against the water.
On Friday, I felt the cold breeze brush against my skin like a tree waving.

Chapter 3
In a flash, the ground shook like an earthquake and Mavis woke up. Then she heard another bang and it was the door of the shed. It was Wendy.
Chapter 4
Mavis dreamed. She could hear a soft voice. She knew something from that voice. It was her mum. Mavis jumped from her bed and ran through the dark barn. Every time she took a step the echoey voice got further and further away. Just at that moment, she heard a strange sound. Quickly, she opened her eyes and peered out of the window of the barn. Without warning, a massive airship came crashing down about to land in a field that they own with their cows in that field. Within seconds, she shouted, “ HEY, I WAS ASLEEP THEN AND YOU WOKE ME UP!”
Then she could see two grown men walking out of the airship, it was professor Penelope and Dr Bruce. Suddenly, there was a bright light coming from the airship. In a flash, Mavis dashed to get Wendy so they could check it out. Once they got down there, they could see what it was. It was the watch. In a blink of an eye, Mavis and Wendy had received it and then Mavis strapped it round her wrist and pulled it tight.

Chapter 2
Buckingham palace stood silent as Mavis and Wendy crept into the gloomy shadow of the massive house. Quickly, the girl and the mechanimal leaped over the gates and pounded into the house. Then, very sneakily, they wandered up the stairs into a dark bedroom which was full of dirty clothes all over the floor. The wallpaper was ripping off. It sounded like a cat was in the room and it was scratching the wallpaper off. They couldn’t find the watch(that could go forward and backwards in time). So, they bounded into another room where they saw Mavis’s dad’s greatest ever rival. He was called PROFESSOR PONELOPE. Suddenly, Mavis caught a glimpse of the watch and risked the jump of getting caught or not. They both got caught and were put in the coal shed just outside the house. There was no escape. They were locked in…
