Have you ever heard of the Sea shinner? The Sea shinner is a sweet and cute little creature. It can live in the water and on land however it can only live in water for a day.

It has eyes so bright it can blind people for a few minutes.Never look directly into the Sea shinner’s eyes. Its orange,sparkling wings can fly up to 1000 metres! With its soft, squishy legs moving slowly like a snail. The Sea shinner’s yellow, red scales opening and closing. Its feelers glow yellow when it likes something.

The Sea shinner’s body is very small. It can slither along like a snake. It only stings things when it gets scared. It’s body is round and only gets yellow patterns when it’s excited.

Scared, Olivia ran in different directions. Wishing she wasn’t here, Olivia ran even faster. A few seconds later, she was able to clearly see the box that she had went through. When she looked back the mouth was still chasing her. Suddenly it just stopped. Something tapped her shoulder so she quickly turned around and saw Goldie! “Have you found what you were looking for?” asked Goldie. Olivia stayed quiet with her eyes shocked.Then Goldie explained “You can’t undo what you did.” Olivia hung her head and gave a little nod.

Then walked away and Olivia looked back.The dust was still chasing her. It was like Goldie had never done anything. Olivia gave a frown, a sigh and rolled her eyes. She started running again but she saw two guards with pointy spheres pointing at her. She waited until she was close to the guards.Then she closed her eyes and jumped. Luckily, she made it back safely but when she turned around she couldn’t see the box. She shook her head and went upstairs. What she didn’t realize was that Goldie had put two magic coins in her pockets.

Olivia was still thinking about the statue.It had : royal,baby blue eyes ; a little tattoo of a buttercup on her arm; sunset orange wings; fingernails painted gold; butter gold and banana yellow dress; crystal clear heels with one red rose at the point; and her cherry red smile.So without thinking she hid it in pocket. 

There was a buzzing sound coming from her pocket and it started vibrating. She took it out of her pocket and it started shaking. The statue turned into dust and started floating in the air. It made a ball shape with a mouth and it started chasing her. She started running in all directions but it was like the dust knew where she was going to go. Goldie stared at her and shook her head disapprovingly. Olivia was terrified, she wondered what it wanted to do with her. Olivia saw the box she had went through to this world but there were guards guarding it.

“Hi, my name is Goldie,” explained Goldie.”My name is Olivia, can you be my friend ?” said Olivia calmly.”Of course but you can’t steal anything, this is my party ok,”announced Goldie.While she was walking away, Olivia took step back but she wasn’t sure if she could keep that promise.

A moment later, Olivia was still worried about the warning.She might disobey it because this world she is in now is amazing. Goldie never said she couldn’t touch anything so she went to the decor table.She noticed something that looked like Goldie, it was a statue of her and Olivia remembered her saying that it was her party.

The statue was beautiful so with out thinking she hid it in her pocket.There was noise coming from her pocket, it was sort of a buzzing noise.She took it out of her pocket and it started vibrating.The statue of Goldie started turning into dust and it made a ball with a mouth. It started chasing her so she ran back to the box but there were guards guarding it.

Prologue

Imagine a world when mythical creatures took over,

when fairies danced all night, when elves were such ninny hammers

pranking humans: this could only be a dream until Olivia came along.

Chapter 1-Through the Cardboard Box

Olivia was a girl always helping her mother.One day she wanted to play in an ordinary cardboard box.She jumped inside but the room started turning purple and pink.Olivia landed on long and thick grass.When she looked up she couldn’t believe her eyes.Fairies were flying around and not toy fairies, real fairies!There were also elves!The elves were being so cheeky,they were ruining the elves’ tricks to impress the fairies There were guards so serious they wouldn’t even move. Houses hung from trees like a caterpillar’s cocoon.Fairies doing magic spells with their sparkling wands and dancing gracefully in the shiny gowns.Elves with clean cloths and pointy hats with leaves inside.

If I were summoned

to create treasure

I would take:

the sparkling water in Costa Rica,

the cool breeze within the trees

and the canoe swishing from side to side,

 the beautiful,rainbow sea among the shore,

the tip of the mountain reaching for the sky

and the city at the feet of the mountain,

the green sea of the spread out  city,

a beach with a mass of cities on the land,

and the peak of Burg Khalifa.

In the room of happy hats, 

I put a hat on and I started sinking.

In the room of crazy cookies,

I ate lots of cookies and started floating.

In the room of flaming fire,

I was burnt and turned invisible.

In the room of candy,

My tooth suddenly slipped out.

In the room of darkness,

I could see the light.

In the room of couches,

I was too comfortable to move.

In the room of books, 

I could see the story.
