The Bone- Grinder

The Bone-Grinder is a bloodthirsty, hazardous beetle, which is causing treacherous harm to our most adored planet. Recently founded in the blistering, swelling heat of southern Africa, due to a destructive volcanic eruption, these petrifying beasts are accompanied with sickening ideas of their own. Due to the expansive volcanic eruption, in early June, these mysterious insects have been discovered curled up underneath immense rocks and the barren depths of the soil, ready for horrifying revenge. As these monsters expand worldwide, we ask ourselves- do we want the world busting with murder, or carry on our beloved lives in everlasting danger?

Protective abilities

The Bone- Grinder has vigorous, jagged pincers which can indubitably devour the lethal bones of its alarmed prey. These unstoppable pincers, cannot even be separated from the Bone- Grinder’s solid skull, with a life- threatening, prodigious chainsaw! The devilish pincers also agitate enemies to keep away, with a continuous snapping sound, which echo’s as if in a haunting cave. The pincers pierce the ghastly flesh, which lets out a ruthless acid, boiling the blood of the prey, leaving it exceedingly more appetizing and divine to feast on- how barbaric!

Agility and Speed

The strapping, energetic legs of the Bone- Grinder, can sprint at the athletic speed of a fully- grown horse, letting nearby predators stunned at the sight. Darting in and out of the winding clefts of the dust- filled ground, it is practically impossible to catch this incredible creature, as it is nowhere to be found walking peacefully or even ever so slightly trotting! Scientists are constantly racking their brains, to how this insect, ever so nimble, can whizz so acrobatically with no time for slumber at all!

Look into my eyes!

The Bone-Grinder’s bloodshot, fly- like eyes, bulge horrifically out of its blatant face and can rotate themselves all the way around, just like that of a cocky owl’s head! When lost, the eyes automatically retrieve themselves and duplicate so there are more to save. But as a questioning fact, the Bone- Grinder starts off with a monstrous three eyes. Researches have collected miniature samples of the beasts eyes, and are using them to transform ordinary human eyes, ascend to the next level…

Armour which is useful

The Bone – Grinder has a colossal, uncivilized back, which can carry the laborious weight of two cumbersome cars, which is overly helpful when it comes to brutal strength. Their armoured back is mightier than the average boulder and if (although this barely happens) the back may shatter to hundreds of pieces, a new back is restored- more precocious than the last!

Do you really?

So do you want to keep these deathly monsters, roaming the streets, everyday of our most treasured lives, or demolish the colony of Bone- Grinder’s, once and for all. Intelligent scientists are making constant decisions every hour, but they and we all know- this will not end well…

Chapter 4

To Write the Final Chapter of a story

Neil shadowed his flustered face, as he darted through the haunting alleyways and cobbled streets, blobs of sickening sweat, gliding down his cheeks and swelling up his entire body. Several misty glares accompanied him, seeming to be everywhere he went, and devilish soldiers continued to block his path- how could he ever be free?! That was if all the wicked soldiers, including the snooty Emperor, knew the truth- that the helpless Neil was innocent and just suddenly appeared in the middle of Victorian Britain, with absolutely no purpose or meaning of it. But no. They weren’t interested in that side of the tormenting tale!

But it was at that moment, that the alarmed Neil realised what incredible luck may come to him… Wondering what he was doing, he slid fearlessly through the open legs of a beefy soldier, allowing him to drop to the ground, with no proper answer of how that ever happened. Just then, three more soldiers stood, raging and ready for more. But instead, fortunately, Neil whizzed past them, the soldiers clonking heads hilariously, to what seemed like a lifetime of laughter. “How did I do that?” Neil questioned himself, and soon the mischief carried on- soldiers tripping, slipping, descending to the ground; even the snobby Emperor found himself tumbling to the ground (Neil giving a slight chuckle to the sight of this of course). But how, but why, perhaps the monocle was helping him- and it was for a fact! The monocle guided anyone who wore it, through tough times of course, so Neil was unstoppable to everyone…

Treacherously, the everlasting excitement soon got out of control. Neil became to overjoyed about what he could now do, suddenly losing track of where he was going and then mightily stumbling to the ground. As he sprawled across the cobbled street, he landed with a thud, and heard an ear- piercing rattle- he had smashed the monocle into millions of crystal- clear pieces. Soon, the year 1721 vanished and he found himself back in the Emporium, imagining whatever just happened. “ You’re back,” a croaky voice exclaimed. “ Erm, hello Mr Mconnor,” Neil replied anxiously.

Chapter 3

Chapter 3: The incredible moment

Neil found himself by the magnificent palace gates, golden- polished patterns, curled consecutively, around the fine, intricate oak, and then the mountainous gates opened: heavenly music ascended upwards into the air, from immense, brass trumpets; ruthless, sturdy soldiers marched continuesly, like the courageous folk from the army; towering, stone turrets, crouched over him, like fearsome giants on the run… How extraordinary.

“Where, erm…am, a…I?” Neil stuttered, more frightened than amazed. Neil eyed his divine surroundings suspiciously, constantly gazing at scrumptious, appetizing feasts; the thunderous cheers of eager citizens; the elegant, glorious music; but something just didn’t feel right…

Suddenly, a voice, clearer than much others, was overheard, a wealthy man, cloaked in plum- purple robes, miniature shimmering beads, sliding down his vibrant clothes. “I just wonder where my beloved monocle is, don’t you too, chaps?” a rather stern voice exclaimed, as he questioned his clueless soldiers.

At that very moment, all the tremendous chaos, came to a sudden halt. The villager’s true emperor had spotted the trembling Neil, accompanied by the glistening monocle. The emperor’s emerald eyes darted towards Neil once more. Silence only. “ Tally- ho!” he yelled, and his brutal soldiers made their way towards Neil.

A raging soldier stomped his squalid boot against the floor and his blood- shot eyes were ordering Neil to hand over the monocle, or else the most disastrous would happen. Neil hesitated, but stayed as cold as the coldest ice. The ignorant soldier, slashed his murderous sword in the air, but missed Neil, as he had hauled himself to the side. Spinning his entire body round, Neil raced down the cobbled streets, not dare looking back, before soon the soldier was lost in haunting darkness.

Chapter One

Neil was a rather quiet boy. But although he was like this, he was one of the most warm- hearted boys you could ever meet, with a heart of pure gold and was always accompanied by the friendliest and extremely loving smile. One day he was trotting down the cobbled streets of the gem of the town, and encountered a mysterious shop, which stood out like the key of the street. But he didn’t dare to be mischievous and step in cheekily- he was a good boy of course. But he knew he had to. So in he went wondering what he was doing…

Everywhere he tilted his head, wonderous objects were bustling like magnificent stars. Treacherous swords glimmered in the distance, with hundreds of bloodthirsty stories to tell. Whilst unbeatable knights so firm and stout, stood mightily in the corner of the room, multi – coloured jewels so intricate and divine, were like dreams in heaven. Neil’s eager nose, swung in the air, swaying the magical taste of mouth- watering treats, so creamy and delicate you could never imagine your vibrant happiness. Devilish porclein dolls, glimmering fish in a crystal clear tank, you name it, it was all there just waiting to be discovered. But what tempted the beaming Neil the most, were the most lovable teddies, so soft, they could have only been woven by the finest cotton. He couldn’t bare but squeeze the life out of them and take them all home with him…

“Ah, young one, I see you have found the teddies,” a shadowy voice stated, which sound like a rather croaky voice. Neil’s head spun around and his eyes darted towards a quaint, elderly man who seemed to be as old as the shop itself. He wore an emerald- green waist coat, tidy plum- velvet trousers, and was tipped with a newly- polished top hat. His eyes twinkled continuesly as he stared suspiciously, through his wire- rimmed golden spectacles at the nervous Neil. An ancient owl perched comfortably on his arm, with feathers as white as snow. The elegant owl, cocked its head sideways wondering who this unrecognisable visitor was. Neil gulped with his head down.

Prologue

All folk know in they’re lives, that there are just those maliciously, menacing places were nobody ever enters. Of course, anyone who does enter, never returns and is kept in the fierce grasp of the shop itself. The Mystery Emporium was exactly that place- or even deadlier…

Perhaps the uncertain, haunting whispers were true about the place, knowing that the unspeakable shop was abandoned and is a place were you get chambered inside forever… Nobody even met eyes with the tattered, barren door and nobody ever met eyes with the person or thing that owned the deathly premises, if anyone actually did… Or perhaps the place was maybe magnificent, stacked high with shimmering, shining jewels of every vibrant colour, discovered and owned by the wealthiest and snobbiest of folk. Even your nose would hang in the air, at the melting, wonderous chocolate, so delicate and creamy, they could have only been designed by the intricate and most professionally talented chocolate makers of the World! But still, the place was obviously life changing, which swallowed you up the moment you stepped inside, before getting mauled by razor- sharp claws of the unknown, or getting deafened by the everlasting screech of a monsterous  beast! The shop was truly revolting! Until someone saw the brighter side of things. Someone who went by the name of Neil…
