After a few hours of mending the ship, the crew boarded it; gliding through the night sky. Jasmine glanced around, taking in the cool breeze round her. Stars glimmered in the moonlight, as she walked across the boards. With the aroma of trees and flowers under them, the gleaming moon shone enthusiastically, trees sway along the wind; owls hooting across the night sky. Glancing down, Terry gazed upon the green fields that extended over the horizon.
Several minutes later, clouds accumulated, threatening rain upon them, Terry walked across the deck carrying supplies. At that moment, lightning roared, thunder howled; rain pelting down on him. Then he heard it. Something or someone was rasping the ship’s frame, approaching him at lightning speed. By now the crew hurried out onto the deck wondering what the fuss was about.
“What’s that sound?” Asked Jasmine, worriedly. With the mauling coming closer; one of the grown ups took the risk to peer over the railing. Without warning, he stumbled back, dashing into the ship’s cabin with a petrified face. Then it revealed itself.
It had a silhouette of a bear, slinking slowly across the deck. They were frozen, glaring at each other with a shiver crawling up their spines. It had bloodshot eyes, curved cutting claws that scrape across the floor and rotten that gnaw at enemies.
In a blink of an eye it circled round them. At that moment, it pounded on Terry; threatening to bite. With everyone panicking, the coward adult sprinted out of the cabin with a half-broken ship, knocking the creature to the ground; glaring around in a hurry. In a flash, Jasmine scooped up the monster hurling it across the deck and through the night.
