Girrafimander-Prolouge

You’ve probably heard of Hotel Fantasmic. It’s one of the most well known resorts. In the summer, you can hear lots of chatter, and you can see a cool ice cream van (Pun intended). You can feel the hubbub in the air.

But in winter, it’s a barren place, almost desolate of all life. No hubbub. No calmness. No sun. You wouldn’t want to go there in winter.

Blossom tree

Have you heard of party on sea? In summer,  you can see the pink blossom falling from the cherry blossom tree.

In winter, that cherry blossom tree has nothing left on it and it is bear. It has brown bark on it.

It might have to wait until summer to get more clothes.

Season’s

You’ve probably been to Season’s hotel. In summer .you probably go down to the beach and collected shells and went rock-pooling with your family under a vast sunset, camping or going in a caravan or even at Season’s.Thats the kind of place in summer…

But in winter, you stay inside sat near the fireplace, drinking hot coco. When your mum comes and tops it off with a candy cane and marshmallows floating on top making shapes. Now thats a good reason why.

The prologue

You’ve probably been to crystal-on-sea. In summer you probably sat under the Apple blossom tree reading one of Enid Blyton’s “Famous Five”. When you came, there would be an ice-cream van, a paddling pool for the little ones and crowded summer shops. You probably got took to the outdoor theatre by your grannie whilst you were eating ice-cream. Its always like that… In the Summer.

Bun in the Winter, you probably felt the cold wind. Try being here in the winter when the snow covers the streets. Try being here when it’s raining so hard you have to stay inside. Mot many people come then. Even the locals stay inside everyday, but they have a good reason.

Clacton-on-sea

You’ve probably been to Clacton-on-sea. In summer, did you look for sea shells on the sea shore, running into the biggest waves in the world ,and try to skip rocks over the gleaming sea?

In the winter ,have you ran across the frozen sea at 3 00pm? And did you try to catch the snow falling in your mouth?

Ice-cream town

You’ve probably been to ice-cream town . In the summer you probably licked your dripping ice – cream or you walked along the smooth sand  and the waves crashed around you .

but in the Winter , the rain freezes right before your eyes and the snow falls heavely.

Wonder-on-Sea

You’ve probably been to Wonder-On-Sea. In summer, you probably see the waves flying across your body and when you  have finished in the ocean you would wander home. You’ve probably been to Wonder-on-Waves.But in winter, you probably have built a snowman and left it to melt. You should try be there when it snows But the local legend’s say you shouldn’t visit the beach…

Dogmander

You’ve probably been to Spring-on-Sea. In summer, you probably wonder around the apricot trees whilst they dance. When you came, there would have been ice-cream, chairs for your family and rocks to explore. You probably got to go in the arcades. It’s that kind of place… In summer!

But in winter, you probably hear the howling wind in the rainy, grey sky and taste the bitter rain. You should try being there when it snows, but you may freeze and your fingers may get numb. You should try being there when the sea turns into an ice rink. Few people visit in winter. Even locals keep away from the beach… and some say, they have good reasons.

Bananamander

Bananamander

You’ve probably been to Imagination Land. In the summer, you probably smell the delicious smell of fish and chips. When you came, there would of been you on the beach watching the delightful sea sway. You probably got taken to the lovely park with anything you wish.

But…in winter, you can feel the cold raindrops drip onto your hat. Try be at the seaside in winter. Snowcastles instead of sand… The local shops are all shut in the winter.

Only if you imagine it…
