Butterfly Poem

Butterfly Poem

The Butterfly fluttered over to the flower.

The Butterfly gracefully picked up the flowers.

It was tracking down for food up in the sky.

It eats lots of bugs.

It’s as fast as lightning only when it’s not tired.

It’s orange, black and yellow and some dots are coloured white.

The wings are sometimes crooked.

Sometimes they blend in with plants, leaves and grass.

Some Butterflies are toxic so they can be a breath-destroyer.

When things hunt down the Butterflies there so smart that they know when it’s happening so they play a bit of hide and seek.

Golden Eagle poem

Breath-stealing eagle target’s prey up above . Its eyes are like lasers always finding the animal hiding down below .

The thin beak is like a dagger for retrieving hares for his little baby , its feathers ruffling .

The eagle flows as smooth as a flying car , dangling its broken and beaten wing.

the elegant butterfly

The elegant butterfly,

Dances in the trees ,

Playing with his friends.

The pollen collector,

Its wings are as delicate as cooking paper,

Its delicate antenna senses where its enemy is.

Camouflaging like a chameleon,

Whistle playing with the wind,

Looking out of his miniscule eyes.

Running from his prey,

Hoping  he don’t fall into the water,

Whistle finding his home.

Red Squirrel!

The red squirrel is an excellent tree-climber,

Its eyes are like a dark hole in the solar system.

It’s tail is as fluffy as a teddy bear,

Cleaning its rose red fur.

They wear dark red overcoats,

They play hide-and-seek with the grey squirrels at night.

Some squirrels are very careful and curious,

They are nut-destroyers.

Deadly tiger, staring out

Deadly tiger,

Staring out,

Deep into the night,

Magical ocean eyes,

Standing guard,

Scanning for any prey trying to advance,

Fired face,

Flaming jaw,

Rolling stripes,

Being pushed back,

Legs like a bodybuilder,

One step after another,

Advancing toward tonight’s dinner,

His chest casting a menacing shadow,

Onto the grass,

Slowly getting deeper,

Pouncing out his hiding place,

Biting down on his food,

Dragging it to his part of the savanna.

buttERlfly

The butterfly delicate like paper

Its wings as colourful as a rainbow

Shaped like  a torn leaf.

It plays in the wind

As its fluffy fuzzy hair catches the breeze

There it is in the lone forest.

Flower healer

The pollen collector

The flower saver.
