Chapter 2

Chapter 2
Over the past weeks , hail thundered down on the Masfeild . On the day of rest , they arrived. They gazed upon the beauty of the island with trees as tall as skyscrapers, Mountains more beautiful than the stars and rivers that ran for miles . As they sailed across the sky more of the beauty appeared . The island was called the resting place of Kufulu . Dalcon the 3rd was petrified because of the name .
‘’Prepare to land,’’ Eki shouted . The engines died out as the thrusters took them down slowly . Eki gazed down , using his incredible eyesight . Evelin observed the surroundings , as the mountains shimmered in the light and the tree roots travelled for miles in the dense forest , Evelin was amazed by the island’s beauty . Dalcon strode towards Evelin . To see

what made her freeze and he also froze . Then Dalcon turned and saw something in the background. They noticed a structure that was as tall as 20 skyships , the statue had blood red eyes , scaly skin , no nose or ears , dragon wings and an elephant’s tail .
The skyship slowly descends . They noticed a survival shelter in the distance to the left . Behind it , the trees leaned over it . Upinthe sky avians flow far and wide . To the right hand side , sand dunes weaved up and down like a crosshatch cloth . In front mountains rose past the sky , and trees stood tall , the breeze ran past as they went to explore .
Eli walked left and Evelin went right as Dalcon tore down the bamboo door, looking for any clues , He foraged the pots and pans , bed and started his ascent . The mountain was steep . At the dead of night Eki was exhausted as he held on for dear life . He mustered enough strength to get to the top . Dalcon a book crafted by wriggles worth .
Eki was on the crest of the cliff . At twilight , the fire shimmered as embers landed and bark became ash. He unrolled his sleeping bag , the sleeping bag was made out of spider cloth . In the background a silhouette the size of 40 sky ships , it towered over the mountain and looked like the statue . But

The lost explorer

Chapter two

The first challenge had already begun, the storm was rumbling its way through the dul grey sky. They saw the lowered clouds through the skyship window, they immediately knew it was time to put away all of the glass, delicate and important things. They appeared on top of dark foot island, they sight there warehouse.

 

The travelling came to an end, they were all getting very excited to finally start the journey to find wrigglesworth. They have finally landed and they dash out the door. The warehouse door opens, Ursula saw the board with there plan to find wrigglesworth. They started the journey into the unknown, they door slammed, confused at their plan. The name of the island describes the island. The whole island is covered in a dark cloud.

 

Later, it got dark, Luca and Ursula were getting tired, they made there way way back to the warehouse where a clue to find wrigglesworth was sitting. They read the clue and slept on it. It was at that moment, that Luca realised that clue was the biggest clue they would get. He stared across the warehouse.

 

Ursula stared at the ceiling above as she saw a glimpse of something magical. She thought it had lots of colour. Eventually she fell asleep and woke up very early. The lights flickered. The curtains moved. It was time to move to Exton.

Over the next few slowly passing days, the kraken flew around the island searching for clues, Captain Kakarot made out trees but they were no ordinary trees, as they were volcano trees, the Captain looked at his map to find that this was flame island.

 

Kakarot found a place to land. He saw a glimpse of a skyship that had been taken apart, he was careful not to inhale the trees fumes, although he was anxious, he saw pinecone trees and the beautiful oak, along with a hut and it looked new.

 

The skyship landed next to jungles with lots of monkeys such as chimpanzees, baboons, spider monkeys and a lot of bugs. There were butterflies, beetles, and a goliath bird eater which is the biggest spider ever known. The rest of the island was mountains and lakes.

 

As the bright moon rose up, the crew set camp but Kakarot had seen something out of the corner of his eye, hiding in the shadows and across the smoke. A fuzzed up creature. Red eyes glowing in the dark. A long, thick, scaly tail to one side, the rest of the creature was in the dark shadows, although Kakarot had ideas of what it could be. It ran away shaking snow onto the ground.

Over the next few weeks, the ship flew through all kinds of weather, such as rain, storms, heatwaves, snow and more. Mostly thunderstorms, but once it got so bad that we had to do an emergency water landing! Rain was jumping from clouds, lightning was lighting up the whole sky with its golden strikes of terror. One Tuesday afternoon, everyone could see rows of islands below, (with some leftover snow on them). Fantastic bushy branches and crystal clear seas, all covering each and every island. Not a cloud in the sky to cover up the sun, and everything was being reflected on oceans, the lakes and rivers. But the island that really stood out was the Isle of Doom. It had dead plants and animals everywhere, dark clouds were covering the top of the island, and mentally broken spirits haunting the place, and following anyone who dares to enter.
Looking out of the window, Evelyn took pictures of the amazing view. But then she ever so slightly turned her head and was forced to lay her eyes on the Isle of Doom. A horrified look formed upon her face. She wondered, “What if someone lives there?” Her eyes started to tear. She felt so bad if anyone did. She tried to take her mind off things by looking at other islands, and it worked. Every crew member could see the ship slowly coming closer to the ground. Beautiful , majestic flowers and cliffs, all sitting there, watching the scene.
After a lot of tension, the ship finally landed on the Isle of Adventure. Vincent jumped from the back of the line to out of the door. “Everyone get a good night’s sleep tonight, and tomorrow we will look for Wrigglesworth.” Captain Relphart announced. As soon as Evelyn stepped foot out of the door, she looked around in amazement. The island was so bright with the sun out and everyone was wearing sunglasses. They could see the enchanted lake from across the land, and the golden temples and bright, tall cliffs and hills. Evelyn could smell the summer breeze and cookies from the bakery down the road, and Vincent saw the bright lights from above the Skyship.
It was at that moment that Evelyn heard a faint whisper in her ear saying, “H-help me.” She froze. Branches snapped. Sweat was running down her forehead. Again, she heard, “P-please i’m lost.” Quickly , she turned around. No one was there. Could it be Ermitage Wrigglesworth? But if it was, where did he go? Did he quickly run away when she turned around? She turned back around and saw a silhouette of a human right in front of her. She screamed at the top of her lungs. Suddenly, it disappeared. She thought she was going mad, until Vincent said, “Y-you heard that too, right?” Evelyn nodded, but she was still frozen with fear. “Good, I thought I was mad.” Vincent said. But he sounded a lot like the lost explorer. Evelyn turned around while her eyes were as big as the eiffel tower, and saw Ermitage Wrigglesworth, in the place of… every crew member.

Chapter two

Over the next week, they edged slowly closer to the island. As they closed in, they could see that it looked like a square. They were in the Bear’s Square. It was called the Bears Square because it was notorious for terrifying tree bears. The next day, they could make out piles of flint rocks that were next to lakes and rivers. Then they saw something moving about. What was it?

 

Still staring at where they thought they saw something or someone moving, Timmy yelled down, “ prepare to land.” Suddenly, the roaring of the Skyship stopped. It waited for a minute, then the chopping started. It sounded like the sound of a helicopter taking off. They slowly whooshed down and sandy – mud mixed with savannah like grass swept into their faces. Jayden laughed, wondering what they would find down their.

 

Once the dust settled, and they had landed, they could see a lot of things. To one side, there was an unending forest, with each tree looking more and more like it would belong to a terrifying tree bear! “ Wh- wha- what if a tr- tree bear is in there?” Timmy stumbled nervously. Across the forest, there was a large lake, surrounded by enclosing, flint piles, just like they had thought. Near the lake, covering the island, was a lot of dry savannah, with dry grass.

 

The next day, they all went to what looked like a cap. Jonjo pointed it out to them even though it was covered in the sand. Captain Carrots ran down the shaking sand dunes, not taking notice of why the ground was shaking. Suddenly, a tall black, silhouette emerged from the forest. “ everyone get back” roared Jayden “ I’ll get Carrots, Timmy start the ship, Jonjo, open the door for me when I get back.” Then Jayden made a dash for Carrots, who was petrified by the noise. The thing edged closer. Then it roared. Suddenly, Jayden grabbed Carrots and ran. Jonjo opened the doors. Jayden made a flying leap to get in, but it was too late. They heard a banging and scratching noise. Timmy turned of the engine. Jayden peaked out. It was there…

The beautiful Island

On the blood-stained Island,

I seen an animal with blood on him,

It looked like a round ruddy rose,

In the middle of  a field.

 

On the candy floss Island,

I tasted the fluffy cloud,

It tasted like a red strawberry,

Sweeter than sugar.

 

On the butter Island,

I touched a weird yellow slippery stuff,

It was slippery than ice,

On the floor

 

On the Island of storms,

I glanced at a lighting bolt as,

Perfect as the sun and clouds, 

As water floods your house.

 

On the Island of butterflies,

I saw a sky-flier as colorful as the,

Rainbow and it was as light,

As the sun.

 

On the Island of flowers,

I smelled a flower it was pleasant as,

A mint pill as someone,

Put it in his mouth.

My poem.

On the island of fish,

I caught sight of a silly salmon ,

There were trees that had scales,

I saw a bumpy playground that had spikes as sharp as a katana.

 

On The island  of dreams, 

I acknowledged a book breathing pages, 

And a water carrier flooding with sherbert, 

The exhaust was overflowing with cotton candy.

The island of dreams

 On the island of dreams,

I saw leaves that are made of candy floss as pink as a flamingo,

And gingerbread houses with jelly beans as door handles,

 and lollipops that were actually tulips and the water was sweet, sticky honey.

 

On the island of dreams,

I found a volcano overfilling with boiling, hot lava,

And dark water carriers drifting around the sky,

While lightning was striking  the ground while the ground was screaming in pain.

 

On the island of dreams,

I noticed a carrot muncher hopping into the the black and white forest,

While footballs were bouncing everywhere,

And the leef carriers were as black as night with leaves as white as snow.

 

On the island of dreams,

I saw monkeys fighting and it looked like they were warriors,

And there were bright yellow bananas falling down from the trees,

And baby monkeys were wailing while the mums tried to calm them down.

On the island of storms,

 i catch sight of a  savage dash of electricity

 and a big dark water carrier.

A roaring sound of terror

 

On the island of fire,

I saw a fire demon crying  as loud as a siren.

He/she was listening to the trees listening 

To the trees whistling and the birds singing.

 

the thunder lands

On  the Island of storms,

I glanced as the threatining yet thumpy storm crashed like,

an exploding bomb the doors were rattling like never before,

It was like a rattling snake.

 

On the Island of Darkness,

I saw the haunted doll house next to the killer mountains ,

It felt like   the doll moved windows like the doll moved every day,

On the killer mountains you always hear screaming at 3am.
