What are?

What are loud?

The siren of the ambulance and the singing of an actor.

What are hard?

A rock laying on a mountain and a rake laying on the messy ground.

What are silent?

A piece of cake sitting alone in the fridge and a cap on someone’s head.

What are soft?

A blanked laying on a bed and a teddy bear being hugged by a child.

What are heavy?

A brick stuck on a wall and a big piece of metal being put on a house.

What are light?

An empty plastic bottle that is sat on a table.

What are cruel?

A naughty person shouting in school and naughty words being said.

What are kind?

Someone helping hurt people on the ground.

I’ve never

I’ve never walked to gorgeous Greece

but I have flown to rocky Romania.

I’ve never tasted a chewy chicken wing

but I have eaten a crunchy chicken nugget.

I’ve never ridden in a terrific Tesla car

but I have driven in my Mum’s small cramped Ford Focus.

I’ve never seen an ancient emerald as green as an apple

but I have seen a plastic red ruby.

I have never captured a crazy crocodile

but I have caught my pet dog Ozzy.

I want to paint red

I want to paint

the juicy taste of summer strawberries,

the smoky smell of burning pepperoni,

the sound of larva bubbling boisterously down the mountain and

the memory of Mario in his magic go-cart.
