Imagine poem

The blossom is

as pink as a blooming rose,

like a flamingo dancing.

Velvet cherry.

The stars are

as golden as a trophy

like lions’ fur glistening in the sunlight.

Golden  footprint.

The polar bear is

as white as milk,

like a fresh piece of paper.

Arctic dreams.

The frog is

as green as a teachers tick,

like a lush grassland.

Poison Ivy leaves.

The ship of moonlight.

On the ship of moonlight

the star dust brushes against the sea.

On the ship of moonlight

the moon slopes away as slowly as an old man.

I can hear the birds chirping good night,

if you stop and listen you will hear it too.

On the cold January night,

we all huddle together like flocks of penguins

enjoying each others warmth.

The cabin lights speckle

like stars in the moonlight.

I can see a island ahead

all the crew cheer as loud as a lion.

Kind Mrs Lovely

As soon as kind-faced Mrs Lovely skipped into the classroom everyone started cheering.

She was small but nothing could but nothing could stop her having fun with her class.

” Settle down children, we have loads of fun things to do. Let’s not waste our time,” exclaimed Mrs Lovely with a voice as soft as honey.

Mr Happy’s Class

As soon as smiley-faced Mr Happy skipped gregariously into class seven, the familar room immediately appeared to turn sunshine-y. He was tall with a cute beam on his face rather like a content puppy. “SEttle down, children!” said the new teacher excitedly. “Homework is now banned.”

Biography about Dr Maria Fuller

Dr. Maria Fuller was born in 1992 in the luxury realms of Rayol City with her identical twin Meredith and her extremely wealthy parents. During her early childhood, Maria was very spoiled; she had all the fancy frocks, delicate jewellery and Baby pet dragons she could ever desire.  Usually, a child with this upbringing would turn out bratty and selfish. However, unlike her sister, Maria had always been a very considerate and thoughtful girl that almost never complained.

Throughout her primary school life, Maria excelled in all subjects varying from English to latin. She won the junior maths award at just age 4! Her parents were very proud of her and gave her generous gifts of diamond earrings and silk dresses. Despite being amazing at every subject, she was very passionate about Biology.

Maria attended  White Elk Academy in the capital city of Prastine. During this time, she excelled further and discovered her major skill at sport. After accomplishing countless sporting achievements, Maria focused on her love for biology. Soon after, she was the second person to receive the Barber prize (the most prestigious award that any biologist could ever dream of winning) and began a career of working with dragons.

In the later stages of her life, she met her biologist boyfriend (Andy) who investigated the benefits of feeding burning coals and how they affect the growth of varying species of dragon. They went on many expeditions and saved countless dragons in need together. Maria and Andy got married and spent many years creating a dragon sanctuary and nurtured and healed dragons for many decades.

Stormkiller Chapter 3

Terrified, Liam began running as fast as he could, whilst still with his injury, leaving Phoebe behind in the dust with the rucksack. Liam raced into the pitch-black mysterious forest unaware of what might be lurking around in the dark. Suddenly, realising what Liam had just done his heart felt like it was being ripped out of him, as he went deeper into the forest he kept hearing cruel voices from his past telling him everything he had ever done wrong. Until, the mysterious figure Liam was originally running from, appeared before him. Liam began walking backwards unable to stop staring at the creature, as he was backing up Liam fell over a tree stump, as his dark brown hair hit the floor Liam fainted.

Meanwhile Phoebe, who was abandoned by her own brother, felt so alone that she could no longer see the good in the place she was left in. As Phoebe was also affrighted, she tried to calm herself by sitting quietly down on the damp, cold ground and thinking of where she used to live. Where every morning, she would awake to the smell of freshly baked pastries, when she would go downstairs to find her brother Liam and her parents either having their custard oozing pastries, or outside sunbathing in the Roman giardino with their Italian towels for protection. Suddenly, Phoebe remembered what her mother had gifted her before she went on this treacherous journey. Phoebe realised that at the bottom of her rucksack was a wreath of memories, made of baby unicorn hairs so that she would never forget who she was fighting for. Phoebe remembered with a joyous smile that she and her brother had gone on this journey to find the remedy for their parents’ illness. That was why they were there, that was why the needed to stick together. Filled with hope, Phoebe arose, she carefully reached for the wreath and wrapped it around her, whilst doing this she heard something…

Simultaneously, Phoebe turned around to find an injured sparkle (baby unicorn), at that moment Phoebe took off the wreath and wrapped it around the half-frozen Unicorn. Realising what Phoebe had discovered, she knew this was a sign that somewhere Liam was waiting for her. Filled with courage, she began following the footsteps Liam had left behind, to find her brother…

The new arrival

Something was scrambling up the edge of the skyships wooden hull. Beth excitedly dashed to the side of the Cloudslicer, curiously leaning dangerously far over the edge. However, Ted, who had other plans, cowardly edged towards the safety of his bedroom.

“Beth!” he called, failing to disguise the fear and dread in his voice, “What are you doing?”  Beth didn’t reply. Focused on the creature, she heaved its quivering body up from the vertical drop (relieving the shivering animal from the storm’s fierce temperature). Cradling it in her arms, Beth recognized it by its slender body, pointed ears and its snow white fur; it was an arctic fox.

“Ted!” she yelled a sense of urgency in her voice “I suggest that you climb out of the closet and fetch this poor creature a blanket!”

Swiftly, Ted scurried towards the storage room and grabbed the first blanket that he cou;d find. Screw this stupid animal he thought it’s stealing all my sister’s attention and snow foxes have been known to destroy people. Suddenly, a dark thought entered Ted’s already annoyed mind. That was his only solution. Hurriedly, Ted scrambled back to the deck where Beth sat, the fox laying dishevelled in her arms. Slowly, she carefully lowered the animal into Ted’s shaking arms and gently wrapped it in the blanket. Hesitantly, Ted raised the fox above his head and with all his might heartlessly tossed the creature off of the cliff so it plummeted to his death.

A New Crew Member

Something in the distance was quickly advancing towards them from the clouds up above. At first, Ryan thought the heavens had sent a sky torpedo to take them down, thus ducking instinctively. Laurence was completely oblivious of the potential danger, looking over the deck at the peaceful view down below and beaming proudly. Before Ryan could warn him, there was an explosion of feathers right next to Laurence, as if someone had started a pillow fight right there. For a split second, that’s what he thought had happened, so the disappointment on his face was quite visible when he turned to find out that there was, in fact, no pillow fight. Instead, a strange and feathery creature lay trembling on its back like a stuck tortoise.

“Aww, it’s a seagull!” Laurence exclaimed. He squatted beside the bird-like creature to observe it closer.

Ryan watched the situation unfold before him from a safe distance in horror. All he could say was “Don’t touch it-!” before Laurence scooped it up and cradled it in his arms like it was a baby. But he noticed something strange about it immediately; his eyebrows furrowed in confusion. It had countless eyes all over its body and on its wings, all of them wide and scared. Its torso was covered modestly like a dress with its six blinking wings. Rose-gold rings covered its legs like a pair of shiny, eye-covered trousers and the tips of its feathers were tinted gold in the sunlight.

“What..” Laurence began.

“SQUAERAAAAWWKKK!!”

Stormkiller Chapter 2

The following morning, Phoebe was woken up by her brother Liam who was attempting to stand on his bad leg. Phoebe’s head was still ringing, and she knew that she would have to be the one to steer the ship (because of Liam’s injury.) As Phoebe arose from the ground of the slippery floorboarded ship, she decided to make herself a cup of camomile tea to ease her pain before she began to navigate the ship. After Phoebe’s cup of tea she stood up to drive the ship until she noticed that the ship had managed to guide itself to what appeared to be an abandoned island.

Liam stared round at the deserted land. In front of him, stood a forest of mysteries that was filled with fear and despair. Liam noticed there were strangler figs at the bottom of every oak tree, as the trunks slowly began to die. Liam looked to one side horrified, a few minutes passed by until he spotted a dying fox; as it’s eyes slowly began to turn black there was a single chance of life before it was too late.

As Liam began slowly limping of the ship, he could smell the drifting smoke from a dying fire. Entranced, he followed the scent. Suddenly, Liam stopped as the gritty sand from the edge of the island began quickly dashing to the salty sea water like a wounded gazelle running from its prey. Confused, Liam called for his sister Phoebe, who was still on the ship sitting at the edge watching the view whilst still drinking her camomile tea.

As Phoebe stood up, she noticed a small figure in the distance that kept getting larger the closer it got, it smelled like death and every cruel person’s future. The figure sounded like a little voice floating around the back of your head telling you everything you’re doing wrong. Agitated, they began walking into the forest as calmly as possible. In a cold sweat, Phoebe noticed that the deeper they went into the woods the faster and closer the figure got until, Liam saw something…
