Should Dragons be allowed to live locally?
Grace’s Blog Post
Lately, in the Peak District, we have been discussing whether or not dragons should be allowed to live locally. We have decided to debate this because recently, invisible dragons have been stealing Coco Pops from the nearest supermarkets. What do you think?
It is true that a number of people have reported their dragon sightings. As a result of the sightings, there has been no injuries or attacks that suggests that dragons are dangerous to be around or near. The majority of people state that it is incorrect to point out that they are hostile creatures. “They are simply not hostile creatures and belong with us, safe.” Reports John Button (a local scientist). People believe that calling them “hostile and dangerous”, is offensive, as they don’t call us hostile or dangerous.
On the other hand, some people believe that they should be locked away due to safety reasons and to keep LosVille safe. Dr Farmer Jones commands that the local authority should get rid of the dragons quick due to his loss of animals on the farm. He also threatens to not sell local food markets the meat and vegetables that he provides unless, they get rid of them. Dragons have also been spotted in school playgrounds and this prevents children from getting their playtime outside. Many teachers say that this is unfair and the police need to find a way quickly to get rid of these beasts.
Having considered and understood both sides of the argument, we shall now accept the terms of accepting dragons to live locally and the terms of pushing the dragons away. Locking the dragons up might make them angry and want to break free and cause mayhem and chaos. However, releasing them into our world, might be a good idea as to they can protect us. I feel that whatever side the local authority decides will be for the best.
