Bit by my brother – Max and Oscar

I have never fought a fire breathing dragon, but I have fought in a Taekwondo tournament.

I have never seen a purple frog jumping into a swamp, but I have seen a frog in my pond.

I have never seen a jaguar in a pool, but I have have been swimming.

I have never seen a dinosaur, but I have been bit by my brother when he was pretending to be a dinosaur.

I have never…but I have…

I have never eaten 20 scoops of chocolate ice cream but I have eaten 5 scoops of mint chocolate chip ice cream.

I have never ridden a unicorn but I have ridden a horse called Jeff in the stable.

I have never read a comic but I have read a book.

I have never seen a monkey eating a banana but I have seen a horse eating grass.

I have never seen climbed high as 10 meters but I have seen someone else climb 10 meters.

 

I’ve never…

I’ve never seen the moon go down but I have seen the calm pink sunset on the horizon.

I’ve never touched the moons dust but I have touched the dirty dust behind my books.

I’ve never cooked a delicious curry but I have cooked some amazing cupcakes.

I want to paint…

I want to paint a beautiful angel flying majestically through the bright blue sky. I want to paint a Ferrari as red as a ripe tomato. I want to paint a chamber of sly, slippery snakes hissing in anger. I want to paint a superhero proudly standing tall in front of a cheering crowd after saving the World. I want to paint a soldier camouflaged among the spikey green shrubs. I want to paint a devious red devil with horns as sharp as a shark’s teeth. I want to paint a workman raging red as he will not finish until midnight.

a shimmering diamond

slicing through crystal

clear glass.

a donut melting 

smoothly from

the sun.

a monkey dancing

around from 

tree to tree.

The murmurs of the ocean sparkling in the day

Catching beautiful glimpses of orange seahorses

 

The silence of a sunset fading magically

Like a doughnut  dripping,

 

A zebra showing of its beautiful stripes in the vast savanna

 

The yellow heart of the sun, like a golden flower swaying in the breeze.

I would like to paint

I want to paint,

An octopus as orange as a carrot

Spraying inky black ink as dark as

The night sky.

 

A sunrise glowing with colour: colour

As bright as a star.

 

The night sky full with stars and the

Moon shimmering in the corner

Of your eye.

 

A autumn tree blowing in the heavy wind.

I want to paint:

I want to paint, the gentle sunset setting over the horizon.

I want to paint, the peaceful bird silhouettes gliding repetitively over the still mountain.

I want to paint, the Autumn trees with leafs like burning embers with a linen branch.

the shimmering sunset that sets over the zen ocean,

the glorious brownies as they come out of the beaming hot oven.

A chocolate labrador running along the beach into the water like a cannonball, a robin perched on a frost filled wall chirping a lovely tune.
