DEADLY DRAGON

The dragon pauses,

when he starts to stare.

His club like tail,

wallops anything in his way.

The dragons volcanic breath,

can disintegrate anything in his path.

Powerful jaws hold countless teeth,

as dangerous as daggers.

With talons as deadly as scimitars.

Spikes on his back,

contain fatal venom.

He’s guarding a chest that contains precious undiscovered gems.

Beware of the deadly dragon!

Dragon moonlight

The dragon’s large, blood-red eyes stare unblinkingly into the darkness,

patiently waiting for it’s prey.

Green, swamp coloured skin glistens in the moonlight,

a stone still statue gazing at the sky.

Narrow, long bloodstained jaws,

dripping with blood of those men that came before.

Rows of razor sharp teeth as long as legs,

Brave warriors tremble at the thought.

Thick black scales armour his heart,

protecting the tragedy of death.

It’s spiky spine stretches as far as its tail,

which is wrapped  around a weeping willow tree.

Eagle like wings tucked tightly in,

ready to pounce on it’s prey.

It’s curved talons as deadly as poison,

The hero’s death awaits here.

THE RED DRAGON

There were fire explosions coming out of his eyes.

The skin was as red as the planet Mars and as bumpy as a dirt track.

The jaw was as big as Russia in the map.

He had 1,000 blue teeth like the ocean as sharp as daggers.

He had a tongue as rough as a cheese grater and the colour of a white marshmallow.

He had scales as smooth as tar mac just been laid and as hot as lava.

He had 6 spines that cross over like an underground map.

He had wings as big as India and as brown as a dead leaf.

He has talons strong and shaped like a pirate ship.

He has 10 claws  on each hand as sharp as a sphere.

The Dragon

The devilish dragon’s deadly teeth,

devouring everything in its path,

as sharp as carving knives.

Fearsome flames fly from its mouth –

an enormous explosion,

burning endangered people to ash.

The swishy, spiky, sharp tail,

moves like a venomous snake

causing terror throughout the land.

Burning, scarlet eyes,

two blinding headlights

fiendishly staring at people.

Clutching, scratching, sharp claws,

like two mechanical machine grabbers

ready to cause destruction!

After the battle

After the battle…

The dragon was weary after the fight.

Its breathing heavy, laboured and long.

His flaming bubbly red skin creasing over its cold blooded body.

His sharp teeth like razors, had torn into the flesh of others.

His sand paper like tongue, red from the blood of the men that came before him.

He looked around at the lifeless bodies, lying on the floor of his cave.

As he scanned the damp cave, seeing only darkness and dead men. He glided across his dark lair, looking down at the bodies thinking of which one to eat for dinner.

He paused ….

He heard a sound…

coming from outside,

Slowly, quietly he hovered to the entrance,

moving his head into the sunlight,

He let out a volcano of flames and hate to the living world.

It was time to eat.

You are a Saturday by Ella B

You are a cake so sweet like sugar.

You are the sunshine after a rainy day.

You are a Cavapoo in the forest chasing a squirrel.

You are mug carrying hot chocolate.

You are a pillow as soft as marshmallows.

You are a Saturday morning, making me lazy.

You are the smell of a rose dancing in the night.

You are the sound of my mum telling me to finish the poem.

Humpty Dumpty

You are Humpty Dumpty
A delicate old chap
Rocking back and forth like a bucking horse
Falling off the high, skinny, silver wall
I feel sorry for the king of nursery rhymes
All the king’s horses and all the kings men couldn’t fix him together again
The moment was awful
So from that day nobody has forgot the great all mighty HUMPTY DUPTY.

Poem of airplanes

You are an Airbus A380 gliding through the moonlit, black and dark night.

You are a Boeing  747 shooting through the air.

You are a Raptor 11 darting across the blue sky.

You are a Concorde going the speed of sound with a big BOOM!!!!!

You are a sea plane landing at a pink harbour with water flying everywhere over the river.

You are an Airbus A340 landing in Dubai international airport staying still as airplanes arrive and depart on its runways.

You are a cirrus  jet buzzing like a bee on a busy break in a blustery  breeze.

You are an Airbus A320 taking off as fast as an Olympic sprinter from Malta international airport on a blue, sunny day.

Poem

You are a professional magician you always have another trick up your sleeve

you are a beloved label naming everything you come across

you are a peculiar penguin gliding through the vast sea

you are a poisonous waterfall destroying the heavenly sanctuary all around you

you are a rubber on a riot erasing the planet we know best

The Cheetah and the erupting volcano

The Cheetah and the erupting volcano

You are a Cheetah, barking like 2 lorries crashing into each other.

You are a white ball of fluff as hard as a red brick taken from a house, floating in water.

You are the taste of a mouldy strawberry being dropped in to Archy’s warm mouth.

You are a toaster silver and black, the steam evaporates like an ice cube.

You are a metal bottle containing secrets, it smells of happiness and the future.

You are a window as transparent as a brick wall you feel rough and bumpy like a dirt track leading to heaven.

You are a pencil case filled with carrots, you taste like chocolate, dripping down a mountain erupting from a volcanic explosion.

You are a precious car as fast as a swinging monkey, leaping from Russia to China.
