When Podkin was outside, he froze ever so slowly, freezing cold, when he heard a snap! Swiftly, the footsteps got louder and louder, as Podkin ran faster and faster! Later, it had turned very dark, so he did not know if he had lost whatever was chasing him… In the middle of the calm night, Podkin then glanced out the hole of the cave and before that, he heard scratching and screeching. Obviously, someone or something was trying to get into the cave! The rocks were knocked down, the beast had got into the cave! Podkin stared into the beast’s beady, fierce eyes as it angrily growled. Podkin had a plan to get out of death, but it wasn’t going to be easy.

Fiercely, Podkin positively climbed up the tree and had obviously overcome his frightening fear of heights.

Podkin sadly sat silently, so all he could hear and see was birds chirping, and the blan black sky staring down at him. Podkin, prayed to stay alive. But then, he suddenly forced himself to fight the Gorm!

But, he miserably failed and started to run for his life! His only choice now, was to hide. If he didn’t hide, the Gorm would’ve gruesomely eaten him! If he runs, he will get caught, and then he’d be rabbit soup!

What would he choose? He has to get out, but it would mean his life when he could hide and be safe. But when would he see his family again?

It’s appearance is a colour of chrome gray, which shines in the day and goes dark in the night. Amazingly, it hasn’t seen a single human in its life, and if you didn’t know, it lives for 800 years!
