The skyship was getting ready for take off. They were thinking about the creatures who were going to attack. They all needed weapons. Above the chair they found something mysterious…

These creatures were going to be hard to attack. They were fierce and very scary, they werent playing easy. They were equipped with bloody arrows to swiftly fire anyone who comes to close to the creature, patches for when the creature gets hurt it can be healed straight away, big blue eyes to see danger ahead, huge ears to hear people or preditors from far away and bubbly infectious skin to kill any poisonous bugs or animals who come near. These creatures mean business. 

SMASH! Below the ship, something made a violent noise. Their only option was to assume it was the creature ready for attack. Everyones heart began to beat fast… 

Is this the end of the skyship?

Luckily at the back of the ship was a magic staff. This would come in really handy for them. If they made it work, the children could use this as a weapon against the creatures The staff can do many things. 

Within a blink of an eye, the ship stopped working, They had done nothing to break it. Although this was unexpected, they were determined it wouldnt bring them down. Dont worry this is not the end!! 

Chapter 3

Suddenly everything goes quiet. All you could hear were leaves brushing past the trees. The shadow gets bigger and bigger by the minute and more and more intense by the second…

The shadow reveals itself. Shockingly, it was the owner of the statue! They beg and beg for the statue. It was so important for Charlotte and Finley to get it. Within a blink of an eye, they were warned of severe danger. 

It was a creature. Apparently, there was a creature ahead which is very poisonous and toxic. They didn’t know where or when it was going to appear or what it looked like. Charlotte and Finley knew it was going to be something that looked mysterious or deadly. What is going to happen now? 

All of a sudden, they thought of a plan that might help. If they find out what creatures are on the island. There is only one deadly one. Finley suggested they dress up as something the creature hates. Charlotte and Finley were determined to get this statue. 

So they raced to the ship, told the captain what was happening and told him their game plan. The captains seems to think they are exaggerating. They get all their things ready to set off. 

Prologue

Have you ever had a family day trip on the skyship? If you havent i suggest you sit up and listen to all the exciting things we have in store for you. In the summer you will fly over the city, gliding high above the castle and drift along the warm seas and that glorious sense of freedom and joy. Have you ever got taken to one of the nearby islands and landed the skyship so you could relax with friends and have a picnic? When you travel by skyship in the summer thats what you get. 

But travelling on a skyship to mysterious islands is something else. You need to try a skyship journey when the winds blow a gale, the thunder growls around you and the sky is cracked by powerful lightning. You should try being there for the eagle attack, dawdling across the hill ready to dig their vicious claws into you or worse. Even experienced flyers think twice about travelling south over the distant islands. Its a mystery whats over there. Rumour has it that there is fire-dragons, cave-bats and ************. 

Chapter 1 

The crowd was shocked to see the beautiful sight of Sazan rising up into the air and lingering for a minute. They watched the amazing view power its engines. Captain Charlie was guarding the skyship making sure everything was in order. Everyone’s faces were lit up. Take off ! 

Harry and Charlotte were peering up at the skyship taking off, watching until they disappeared into the clouds. Sazan was crossing many places, the beach, the swimming pool , the crystal clear ocean, all the flats near there home and many schools. 

They could hear the delicate breeze brushing past the skyship, and the sound of aeroplanes taking off at the nearby airport. All the children turned to see each other, Charlotte had a big grin on her face as she thought about how excited she was, inside Charlotte had butterflies. Is it going to be okay? 

Within about 45 minutes, everything was going smoothly and everyone was calm and enjoying themselves. Everyone was wishing it would continue the way it was going. 

“Do you think we are going to be okay?” muttered Charlotte.

Harry replied, “I am sure we will be absolutely fine”. 

Harry gripped the deck.

“I wonder if we will come across anything unusual?” asked Harry. 

“Last time we saw some goblins, they were very strange!” Harry added. 

That night the tables soon turned, snow whipped the skyship causing the window to be covered in snow. The moon was brighter than a street light at dusk. All Charlotte and Harry could see were lovely lights glimmering below them and little boats waving across the ocean.

Dear Captain Harriet Culpepper, 

I am writing to apply for a job on the skyship Aurora,as a crewmember for your future journey. I hope that you have a place for a eager, friendly skyship traveller who will bring useful talents to your crew. 

To start off, I would like to advertise my skills . I have always been good at fixing skyships. This means if the skyship breaks, i will be right there to mend it and avoid any issues. I hope this will help you and your crew.

Moreover, i wish to tell you about my previous experiences. I have taken a course on skyships so that i can help with any issues with the skyship. I have been through multiple good experiences with skyships. I have helped loads of people too. 

Furthermore, i would like to join the crew because i am very kind, friendly and patient so i will get along with the crew very well. I could potentially help with any enemies you may have. Please take note to this. 

Please consider me as a helpful kind crew member i will work the hardest i have ever worked.

The Explorer’s Handbook

The handbook – which is in alphabetical order – will give you help and ideas on what to take to your future magical adventures. It will also provide you with tips on what animals to avoid. 

A-D

Remember to always carry a special amlet with you in case you need to pull out a power. Always bring a book with recipes for if you get stranded and need to cook something. Never bring a curse, you may need it but it could rebound on you. I would recommend bringing a pet dragon that can breathe fire to protect you. 

E-H

Always have energy potions, you could be out there for days, you will need an energy boost. Remember to never take fireworks because you could potentially scare away animals that could come in use to you. My advice is to beware of goblins because them weird creatures could do anything. Always beware of hedgehogs, they seem cute but they are troublemakers in disguise. 

 I-L

Don’t forget to bring your invisible bridge as you will need it to actually get somewhere. You will need your invisible jacket to cross the bridge. Remember your knight armour to disguise yourself if you need to go somewhere public and you will be noticed. Be wary of lions with wings, they are known for swooping down and collecting children. 

M-P

Always carry a magic staff. It is one of the most important things you could carry. Something really important is a never-ending night, you could grant that with your staff. Beware of orangutans, they are very fierce when they want to be. Remember your special pouch of pixie dust. 

Q-T

Always remember your quests, they will help you alot. Always bring a magical rabbit to help you grant wishes. My advice is to beware of the swamp of despair, it could easily pull you in. Beware of trolls, they are always there somewhere. 

U-X

Always bring a magical unicorn, it can teach you some handy things on your trip. Beware of the violation spell, it can haunt or hypnotise you. Remember to bring a wizard, if you don’t know what a spell is, it will tell you. Don’t forget your X-ray vision goggles to see evil animals. 

Y-Z 

Beware of yetis, they don’t like when they are followed or chased. Never talk to a zombie. They are not very nice. 

Enter the sound of whispering noises, mumble your thoughts, 

Find the wooden den, pick up the key,

Go and explore. 

Run towards the anger button, release your rage!

In front of you lies a scarlet crab, touch it,

Try and discover a crystal, research it. 

Buy an ancient statue, put it on display,

Run through the world of gold,

Wait for the smell of fresh steel. 

Grab the fresh air, smell the aroma of rain,

Exit the room, grasp the thought of being somewhere you love, 

Escape to luxurious lakes and listen to the birds singing their songs, 

Swim through the crystal stream, 

Admire your time,

Take pictures of the appealing view in front of you. 

On the island of strawberries,

I saw strawberry seeds scattered across the island, 

Making me grin from a far distance. 

On the island of caves, 

I could see ripples of wet cobwebs, 

Expanding quicker than a kangaroo.

On the island of lakes, 

I heard the peaceful splash of frogs jumping on their lilypads, 

Sending a relaxing harmony. 

On the island of trees, 

I heard the tree-climbers running up the tree like a squirrel , 

The tree laughed. 

On the island of sun,

I felt a glaze of warmth across my arm, 

My eyes were diamonds. 

I felt sun-drenched. 

What to do if you meet an Alien: 

These following instructions will tell you how to take care of a rare living species or make friends with one. If you want to get close and interact with one i suggest you follow these instructions, for sure this is not something you would just see in your garden. 

What you might do: 

1: Make sure it’s an alien not a human. Look out for these features:

• Bright pink cheeks
• Big mushroom head
• Short arms 
• Brown body 

2: Next, comfort it by saying, “Hello I am not going to hurt you”. Or if it is feeling aggressive then I would recommend lightly holding its hand. If the creature grabs your hand tightly then it trusts you so start a conversation like: 

• “Are you ok?” 
• “Are you hurt?”
• “ What’s your name?”
• “Do you want anything to eat?” 

3: Finally here are some signs that you should not go near one of these creatures: 

• If its cheeks are red (usually pink)
• If it’s frowning
• If it’s growling; eyes are shut!
• Body is green 

Conclusion: 

If the instructions- which i recommend following- are not followed it will not go well for you, you could get hurt. It might run away. 

Signs to look up to if you are adducted: 

• Get warm 
• Twiddle your fingers 
• Start to shake 

Dear Amelie, 

I am writing to persuade you to become a superhero. 

My first point is that you are now classed as average, (which means you are now allowed to become a superhero). This could be a big step in your life. I would also like to argue that you are such a big part of the generation ; you would make a great superhero. I am sure you would be everyone’s favourite superhero!

Furthermore I am concerned that you will have to hide who you really are for your whole life. To build on this concern, If you are going to hide your outstanding talents for your whole life then what’s the point? Amelie, you really exaggerate how bad you would be as a superhero. 

I would also like to point out that cats would really appreciate you if you become a superhero. If you were to become a superhero you would be marked twelfth on the board as the twelfth female superhero in the UK! 

Although some people believe you are impractical, such as: Ant-Man, I believe that you would be a brilliant superhero and I am determined to prove them wrong. 

On the other hand, many people argue that you would be an awesome superhero!

Flying-Falcon, (who is very jealous of you), is amazed by your superhero skills.
