Chapter 1-The Escape

As the Gorm attacked the warren,Kip,Kaz and Kue were pushed into the bedroom by auntie foxy.They were terrified.”Why are we here?Are father is dying”exclaimed Kip.The children listened to the chaos downstairs while aunt foxy looked for something wrapped in parchment paper.

 

Once she found it she gave it to the children and said “Watch carefully”as she took an old,torn book from the book shelf. A tunnel appeared right in front of them.Their eyes like boulders,they stepped inside.Kip and Kaz argued with foxy about how they should be helping their father instead of him dying . Kue whined because he got taken away from his mum.

 

Aunt Foxy heard the footsteps draw near her and the children.Before they Knew what was going to happen,Aunt foxy fastened the door with a clang and the terrified children listened to their aunt scream in horror.They were alone. No one to call.No one to help.Nothing.”We have to find a way out somehow” Whispered Kaz.

 

Kip didn’t say a word, he just ran as fast as he could and Kaz soon caught up with him.Although,They were exhausted They still ran until they couldn’t breath.It soon became dark and Kaz and Kue tired to fall asleep while Kip looked after them.They were safe for now…

Unicorn seen at Forest Academy

Unicorns spotted

Yesterday morning,Tegan,who is 11 years old,saw two unicorns eating damp grass on the field in Forest Academy.

Tegan,who was walking on the playground,was lining up outside her classroom and saw a glowing horn in the corner of her eye.She told the informer that she saw it galloping on the field .Tegan soon realised that she discovered a rare species of unicorn!

When we interviewed Tegan she said that she was exited to see this beautiful creature. She added that “to see this creature was amazing and i’ll remember this forever”.

Brandon police have sent lost of messages to the local area to stay away and inform straight away. Unicornologist,Dr Pepper told us that their home might be damaged so they had to find a new area.

What is small?

The mini ant crawling threw the spec of dirt and a baby’s first strand of silky hair.

 

What is large?  

The big ben ringing in my ear and the Hollywood sign on the top of a steep hill.

 

What is great?

The sound of your mum saying “It’s takeaway night” and the home time golden bell at school.

 

What is spooky?

The sound of footsteps on a creaky floorboard and the bats flapping their wings on Halloween night.

 

 What is hot?

The simmering sun which has flaming hot fire all over the sphere and the boiling kettle ready for my mum to make a cup of tea.

I have never been to sunny Arizona 

But I have been to Lanzarote and saw a dark volcano

 

I have never jumped in the trees in a rainforest 

But I have visited to  Brandon Country Park and climbed an old tree

 

I have never seen a lion roaming in the swaying grass 

But I have seen my lazy cat sleeping on the stairs.

 

I have never felt the white fluffy clouds in the baby blue sky 

But I have felt the silky brown fur on my cat Toby.

 

I have never ridden on a  giraffe’s back 

But I have ridden a donkey on Great Yarmouth beach.

 

I have never captured an Anaconda slithering through the wild 

But I have captured a millipede in the school’s forest.

 

I have never heard the slithering sound of a green grass snake slither threw the weeping woods

But I have heard the tweeting noise of a robin while it flaps its strong and delicate wings.

Great Yarmouth

I want to paint the beautiful Great Yarmouth beach while the flaming sunset fades in the breeze.The long grass sways at the top of the steep hill while adorable children run through it.

 

I want to paint the sound of seagulls flying over people trying to steal the tasty fish & chips from their greasy hands. 

 

I want to paint the blue dolphins in the distance jumping through the 

glistening water.  

 

I want to paint the smell of the fruity ice cream wafting through the icy breeze.
