Haunted House Thomas and Katie

Karen opened her eyes suddenly and recognised her surroundings. She was in the haunted house no-one dared to enter. How did she recognise where she was when she had never been there before? She scratched her head and then she turned  to a shattered  window. She was in the haunted house on Clown Street. Karen was scared when she simply walked past! She quickly went back to reality. Karen was surrounded by spider webs with miniature icky spiders in them, then she looked to her left to see a child skeleton just like her with a name tag that read when you see this you better run, they will eat you I hope you escape! She was then disturbed  by the petrifying sound of a squeaky door creaking open…

Haunted House Thomas and Katie

Bob slowly walked over to the dreaded attic. Where the last person that had ever enter’d  was over 10 years ago when Jeff his brother lost his teddy bear in there. He was about to go in when he dropped his torch.  “It’s just a stiff handle,” so he thought but soon he realised it was no stiff handle, someone was inside holding it shut….His house had always freaked him out even when he was a boy. He still heard scary noises when he slept. His brother always told him to man up and to go back to sleep. He would always get the shivers when he walked past the attic door and sometimes even tremble. Bob always loved the house even though he felt it was haunted  but he would never dare go near the attic.

Seasons

Strong scents of burning fires,

Zip up my woolly coat,

Watch the colourful leaves,

Refreshing water,

Tasty ice-cream on my tongue,

Sun burning  shoulders,

Lambs munch fresh grass

Streams run through valleys,

Trees bloom in the light,

Sand seeps through toes,

Waves  crash towards me,

Yet they leave me with many shells,

Glowing Christmas trees in every window,

Festive carols all around,

People cooking their special dinner.

Santa is coming to town!

Bicycle

The rusty old chain wouldn’t move swiftly,

In fact it was stiff and unsafe.

But the saddle was polished and clean,

Comfy and stable.

Although the gears were quite a challenge,

As they were jammed and locked in place.

Sadly the spokes were thin as led,

Weak and breakable.

Unluckily it does not stop there,

The pedals are loose,

Slippy and difficult.

The broken bell just makes a pitiful squeak,

As quite as a mouse you can hardly hear it.

Yet the bike is wrapped like a present,

With a beautiful basket full of flowers,

Roses and tulips daisies and bluebells inside.

This bike might need some work to repair it but i’m sure it will get the care it needs one day…
