The Rainbow Masks

I wore the ruby red mask and saw

blood dripping down asylum walls,

a wildfire raging out of control

and and a thorny rose wilting.

 

I wore the tigers-eye orange mask and saw

a candle flame flickering,

an orange being peeled

and a marmalade coloured cat lounging on a windowsill.

 

I wore the bright yellow mask and saw

a sunset setting softly,

primroses thriving in a field

and corn growing.

 

I wore the jade green mask and saw

emeralds glinting in the the sunlight,

apples growing in an orchard

and grass swaying in the breeze.

 

I wore the sapphire blue mask and saw

a butterfly flapping it’s wings,

a single eye staring

and the sky waiting patiently.

Cold winter snow

Cold winter snow

What are cold ?A sharp gigantic iceberg standing like a soldier in the Atlantic oceon, the cold winter snow and a fresh ice cold lolly coming straight out the freezer.

What are hot?A burning kettle bubbling furiously, a hot cup of coffee that has just been poured into a mug . And the scorching hot sun floating in the darkness of space .

What are small ? A tiny mouses whisker, a small dust speck and an ants leg.

What are big? A millionaires mansion  on top of a silent hill, an elephants  stomach straight after  a big meal  and a giant cinema screen.

What are loud? A stampede of Christmas shoppers coming right towards you,a baby’s cry ringing in your ear and a deafening scream from a child when they dont get what they want.

What are quite? A mouses footsteps running through the door to its house, a watch softly ticking  on someones wrist and an empty house which  is abandoned .

I have never surfed on a monstrous tsunami, but i have been in a wave pool were the waves crashed onto my body.

I have never climbed up Mount Everest , but i have walked up Rivington  Pike slowly.

I have never stroked a fluffy lion,but i have played with my energetic dog called Alfie.

I have never been to Southport, but i have been to Blackpool and watched the lights.

I have never been to Formby beach, but i have been to the ocean and went crab finding.

I have never been on a holiday to New york, but i have been on a plane to Turkey.

I have never held a baby monkey, but i have held a baby hamster called chip the day i got him.

I have never ridden an elephant,but i have rid a black and white horse called pearl.

I have never flew on a plane to Chicago ,but i have been on a plane to Turkey with my nan while eating chocolate fingers.

I have never been to Buckingham Palace and met the queen ,but i have played tea set with my nan.

I want to paint a joyful winter walk with my family on Christmas Eve.

I want to paint  a village on Christmas Day having the best time ever.

I want to paint a cold day out at the library reading books.

I want to paint  a mythical land with a winter unicorn in it trotting gently through the magical woods.

I want to paint a cold day out in the snow with my dog.

I want to paint a Christmas dinner being eaten on Christmas Day.

I want to paint the taste of a warm hot chocolate being sipped on a cold night by the fire.

I want to paint a cold rainy day out with my family.

I want to paint a family going on a Christmas shopping spree in New York.

I want to paint the end of this poem.

Garden goblin

                                       Introduction

The garden goblin,known as a naughty creature,can’t eat worms.If they do, they start to feel sick and become a pink colour then blow up.what a strange thing to happen!

                                        Appearance

These mysterious creatures have razer  sharp teeth and big pointy ears.They wear green leafs for a shirt and long grass pieces  for pants.They wear green clothing and have green skin because it helps them camouflage in people’s gardens.They are also  a medium sized goblin which is quite rare for this species.

                                          Habitat

Garden goblins love to hide in grass-only long grass-.They live in trees .Tall trees are very common to see them.They love to hide in pond water and can breathe under it as well .Baby garden goblins are little slime balls which love to hide in garden gnomes.

                                           Diet

They love to eat crunchy bugs from the garden but can’t eat worms.They also like to mush up the bugs and make it into soup for special occasions.
