The Threat
His eyes glow like fire in the black.
His skin, scaly and patterned, a sinister shade of deep crimson.
Teeth like spears, he bites once with force, to end the life of his victim.
Jaws wide and scary, holding the dragon’s canines, ready to chew on flesh.
Thick with juicy saliva, his tongue licks his lips, craving fresh meat.
His scales, thin and spiky, armour his body in heavy protection.
A spine made of spears curls over his great, crimson back.
Wings leathery and large, perfect for high flight above the dark clouds of ash left behind by the scorching fire.
No talons as jagged as his, or as long and fierce as these ones.
His claws give his prey their final blow, before feasting on his kill.
And as the dragon leaves the area, only fire, destruction and ash remain, ending the lives of many.
