As the snow fell Tom waited. He was in a crooked flat, suddenly the phone rang. Tom picked it up, he listened with fear. He dashed across the dark room, he snatched the suitcase. In a split second he opened the door and went into the cold winter night…

Since it was scary, I fed the shark.

The masks of colour

I wore the blue mask

and I saw a huge blue whale

Breaching out of the Artic ocean

And the petal of a bluebell.

I wore the green mask and saw

a rainforest with leaves falling down

and a emerald catching my eye.

I wore the yellow mask and

I saw the bright yellow sunset

Over the sea and the skin being

Peeled off of a sour lemon.

When i wore a pink mask

I saw a magnificent flamingo

Standing on one of its legs and

A bush of dark pink raspberries

And the cotton candy store in the distance

When I wore the red mask

My world became a blood red sky

And it’s made of rose petals from

The spiky vines of a different world

The Mask of Emerald

The Mask of Emerald:

I once found and wore the mask of emerald,

I saw dark green gems as old as time,

a ginormous green dragon with hundreds of scales on its back,

beautiful trees of green in the time of spring,

and the sun setting on a green hill.

We are interrupting this programme because in New York city there has been a ghost spotted. The ghost is known as slime-muncher or marshmellow man. Call the ghost busters if you sight the ghost as they will trap them in a secret location.

Chapter 4 the risk they were willing to take

Chapter 4– The risk they were willing to take.

As they were walking down the tunnel John Pie suddenly needed the toilet. It was risky to ask such an emotionless beast like the Scorpant if he could use the toilet so he tried to forget about it. The Scorpant sounded like it was enhanced, the way his legs lifted, and if you listen closely, you could hear its mechanical legs moving and all the gears grinding.

When they got to the once cheery food hall, they were stopped. This was the end of the line. This was the end. There wasn’t much hope. John knew from the start he’d have to use it. It would be extremely dangerous though as it had only been used once before 3,937 years ago. They called it the last samurai. John knew that it was his only hope and he needed somewhere quiet to summon it.

He still needed the toilet. He proceeded to shout out the Scorpants real name Adamantium Isnad. It rushed over as if he were going to kill him at the spot. He stopped just as he was about to stab him. He asked what he wanted, John said “I simply need the toilet” the infected badgers accepted and took him, once they got there the infected waited outside, Joh’s plan was running smoothly. He went inside and sat on the floor legs crossed and chanted the summoning words “allistic broached infected avian Summon!!” instantly a massive bang went off and the last samurai had been awakened. In an instant he had burst in and obliterated everything in sight. When the dust settled the samurai had taken the Scorpant. The badgers were freed from their hypnotism. Unfortunately Mia had been attacked during the battle between the Scorpant and the samurai. She’d made it so far but lost at the end. As they counted heads once again “75,76,77,78.” They were back up to 78 badgers. They celebrated all night and then John’s son Alfred asked where his brother Maverick was. John replied “he has given his life for yours.” Alfred was the only family John had left and he prayed from that day on, that Alfred would never discover what he had done to the innocent badgers during his hypnotism.

Chapter 3- The Chase

Chapter 3 -The chase

As they turned around, they heard a voice that would go on to taunt them.  It was John’s infected son. They were surrounded. They were captured. They had to think quick. John looked around and from the corner of his eye he saw a small gap between the infected badger and the gorge.

Several hours later the badgers were still in their huddle surrounded by the infected badgers, they didn’t dare to move.  By now they all knew the plan, they knew they would lose some badgers but that was the risk they had to take.

As quick as a flash John saw his opportunity. It was time. He launched himself at the gap and so did four or five others behind him. John couldn’t look back, he felt scared. Not for himself but for the ones that didn’t make it. He also knew that he had to run, this was his chance. Soon the infected badgers would be behind them..   “Run, Run, run!” he bellowed and run they did. Bolting up to Lots of Trees.

Once they arrived at Lots of Trees, they knew they didn’t have a lot of time before the infected badgers would catch up with them.

John whispered something to the other badgers “We need to split up”. John went left with Mia his wife, another two went right and then 2 went straight.

After hours of running and hiding, they found themselves back together. It must have been badger intuition. All six of them together made the decision to run up to Broken Bridge. As they were about to cross Mia had an idea “We should run up past Broken Bridge. If we run across the bridge a couple of times backwards and forwards our scent will be heading that way. The infected badgers will think that we’ve crossed and that way we will be free.”  They did as Mia instructed relieved to finally get there. They thought they were safe, but they couldn’t be more wrong.

The infected badgers weren’t as easily fooled as Mia had hoped.

By sunset the innocent badgers were surrounded once again. This time there was no escaping. The infected badgers weren’t taking any chances this time. Forcefully, they dragged them straight to the Scorpant. He was impatiently waiting in his newfound burrow. This turned out to be The Survive and Thrive tribe’s burrow. It had completely been taken over a day ago by the Scorpant and his gruelling beasts. John and the last remaining part of the tribe were horrified by what they saw. Bodies lay still, blood streams pouring out of the last few remaining good badgers. John lost all hope, his son’s voice echoed in his mind.

They were captured.
