How To Care For A Pet Dragonling
Are you envious of other people’s pets? Do you wish that you could own a just as amazing animal? Why don’t you get yourself a pet dragonling? These are easy to care for and look after as long as you have the right materials, and are very affectionate pets. Following this set of instructions will make sure that you have the pet that everyone is talking about.
What you need
Lots of fresh meat (preferably steak); colourful and shiny gems and stones; soft, comfy blankets; a large, fireproof food bowl; a strong, fireproof harness/leash; a fireproof, lightweight saddle; a strongly fenced off area with some cool shade; and a big tub of boiling water.
What to do
Firstly, you need to find a dragon egg, or a dragonling (baby dragon). Dragonlings can be found in forests, and these are the better option because the weaker and smaller ones are left there by the parents. If you want to go for the more risky option, however, you will have to look for a dragon egg. It is best to look for smaller ones, because they will yield smaller dragonlings, which are much easier to handle. Hatching a dragonling will take a while, with newly laid ones taking around seven to nine months. You should take the egg home as soon as you get your hands on it, and place it in the tub of boiling water.
Secondly, take the dragonling to its den. This should be complete with soft, warm blankets; an outside area (with shade so that your dragon doesn’t overheat); a pile of around twenty to thirty colourful stones and gems; and a fireproof food bowl. The dragonling will arrange the blankets to its liking and most probably settle down for a nap.
Next, you must fill up your dragonling’s food bowl with different kinds of meats to see what it likes best. The majority of dragonlings mainly eat steak and chicken, but a small percentage like pork and gammon more. They prefer the meat raw so that they can learn to cook it themselves. Be sure to watch them when they do this, however, for you definitely don’t want your house to be set on fire!
If they have not already seen them, show your dragonling the gems you have gathered for it. You giving it the special items will make it extremely happy and your pet will love you even more!
After that, use your fireproof leash to take the dragon for a walk and get it used to the lightweight saddle so that you will eventually be able to fly it. It should have four walks a week, and they should be spread out evenly throughout the week.
Things to be aware of
You should regularly check your dragonling’s scales to make sure that they are in tip-top condition. If you do find any damaged areas, you should immediately sterilise and bandage it up to prevent it from getting infected or worse.
