Blog challenge

Everyone has their own sandwiches.

The team are all wearing their uniform.

The girls were running.

The dog and the cat like to play.

Maths is my favourite subject.

I have walked to the shops.

I had walked to the shops.

We have walked to the school.

We were walking to the school.

We did it.

He drove the car.

I took the parcel, ran and fell over.

I looked up and saw the eagle.

While Mr Janks taught us, I thought of a good idea.

John caught the ball.

Something crawled up the side of the sky ship’s wooden hull! Ty, whose face paled, shrunk back and ducked down behind the tiller but Mariana rushed to the edge and peered into the gloom below. She could just make out something or somebody scrabbled up the side of the ship. It was quite small and had green eyes. It paused and stared back up at her. “It’s a baby dragon,” she called, “and it’s hurt.” Mariana, whose brow frowned with concentration, was going to reach down to grip its outstretched paw and pull it onto the deck. “It will be hurt in the storm.”

The dragonlet was shivering cold and whimpered. Ty dashed off to fetch a ship’s blanket, wondering anxiously if the dragonlet’s mother was pleased to know that they would be helping her baby. Mariana spoke calmly to the baby, hoping that Captain O’Shea won’t take a dim view of what they have done!

1.Whenever it was silent, I played my trombone.

2.Since there was no one there, I played my music very loudly.

3.After it was snowing, I wore a shirt.

4.Since there was a bad smell, I bought a gas mask.

Chapter 1

Haider grasped onto the railing with determination, his hands slipping off as the skyship lurched from side to side. Beside him, his opposite twin sister (Yasmin) unagitated seemed to be unbothered by the shivering skyship situation. They had boarded the skyship several days ago and should have already arrived at the Winter hills. However, a deafening rumble of thunder recently struck the ship causing a disastrous situation and had blown them off course.

At that moment, the sky pirates struck. Haider had to have seen at least three jump out the sky and land on the ship as the electrifying thunder zipped across the sky. The Captain, appling extra force, just preventing the ship by being able to repair the power system just in time or if they thought.

Moments later, the Stargazer had plunged beneath the endless clouds. “What’s going on?”asked Haider fearfully as the skyship was falling. “The skyship balloon popped, we’re going down!” the Captain announced with desperation to fix it. They drifted down and pounded from one side to another. Haider and Yasmin scanned the entire area trying to identify where the sky pirates were. Were  they able to avoid the pirate imbeciles?

Twelve things you would find in a sky-ship adventure’s backpack

I would take a fierce fire phoenix to heal me when I’m hurt and to protect me from sworn enemies.

I would take a pair of night-vision binoculars to see far ahead even in the dimmest nights.

I would take a flaming fire that never goes out to keep me warm during the coldest evenings and to illuminate the night.

I would take an invisibility potion to drink in order to conceal myself and don’t want to get detected.

I would take a polyester, cerulean tent that could easily be draped over tall objects for resting.

I would take a meaningful map to present information about the area I’m in so it’s easier to know where I’m going.

A truth crystal, if your questions need to be answered immediately.

A trust-worthy torch, to illuminate the path I’m being guided onto.

A never-ending medic supply (in case me or my crew gets wounded).

A fairy’s flute that instantly sends all creatures into a hypnotic trance when played.

A moral compass, to ensure I take the correct directions.

A variety of food and water for my need to thirst and hunger.

Persuasive letter

Dear Amina,

I am writing this letter to you to persuade you to become a superior spy in order to be able to be an adventurer on your mission like you’ve always intended.

As my first statement, I would like  you to realize how lifeless your life is at the moment and how you can create a brand new secretive lifestyle for yourself. Haven’t you observed that it is believed people think you’re invisible. You deserve more than a job as a teacher, especially with the people you’re dealing with. You should also get paid more and you can with each commission you accomplish.

I’ve also been thoughtful about you but no need to think of danger for your kids since they can become double agents and they can use our international gadgets!

I understand our skill when fighting with your opponent but you’re never gonna accomplish that with the same same routine each day.

Furthermore, I am sure other pupils believe that you have an average IQ, and in life you will become a decent old person who has wasted their life with a bunch of useless children. Once you do become elder, there will be no choice and you’ll regret if you had chosen no.

I would like to point out how mistakes are made here and there which is why you should decide yes to sacrifice from creating more mistakes in your life line.

To summarise it all, why not become a supernatural secretive spy? Choose yes immediately and stop hiding in the shadows to  begin hiding in the newspapers. Your experience from being a teacher will surely help you with your knowledge.

Yours sincerely – Agent Anonymous

Chapter 4

Arriving closer to the glistened gateway, Yasmin realised footsteps had been deliberately carved in the forest floors.

Were they too late?

Kneeling to the ground, the patient panther grinded her canines, anxiously prepared and lifted it’s claws.

An enormous archway arched and was abruptly pushed against the mysterious portal ahead of them.

Yasmin, unable to breathe, seeing beyond, waited for the panther to come forward.

Leading up front, was all dimmed and thin lights illuminated all ahead of them.

It began to turn night; all left was a galaxy of stars and the Moon lighting up.

Chapter 1

It was a frosty Friday during the end of November. Icicles hung at the roofs of the houses and spectacles of snow began dropping at last in the back alley of Castle Street. People were already hiding foot-prints beneath the snow and sliping plus sliding all round the area.

Jasmine Jamal denied any attention to the ice and continued on her way. She was curious as to where her destination was, but she followed the directions. She repeatedly shivered as snow-drops were swiftly dropping faster than the blink of an eye.She gazed round just to see guards checking peoples ID, along with their tickets, which most people didn’t have, and unfortunately got rejected and weren’t able to enter through.

“Step aside,” exclaimed the guard pointing his finger to the doorway. Jasmine confidently took her ID and ticket out whilst he was staring at her to check if it was the correct person.”Where you off to young girl?”questioned the guard staring strictly into her eyes looking her up and down trying to create an excuse to make her look as guilty as can be.”I’m collecting a delivery for my family from across town.”replied Jasmine trying me find an innocent smile. The guard disappointingly opened the gate allowing her to pass through.

Not long later, Jasmine was just getting closer to her objective. The streets were magnificently delicate, allowing the people to chitter chatter and play. Jasmine dreamt her town to be like this. Saving time, Jasmine took a quick trip through-out Dorset Street. She tried to camouflage with the rest of the people, staying far from problems.

“Hand it over,” a rough voice spoke, snatching Jasmine’s parcel.”For a bonus, give me all you’ve got!” Jasmine kicked him in the guts and ran as fast as she could searching for an exit. But…it was a dead end.The man’s mysterious figure stood still as the man’s head was turning from side to side. Then, it seemed to be heading towards me more with each blink she took. Jasmine hid between a pile of trash. She was twisting her head looking for a way to escape. She leaned back and fell into a trap…

Silent Stalker

Panther, panther,

Lurking round,

Who commanded you

Hunt in the night sky?

Panther, panther,

Stood so steady,

If i were to blow you,

Would you be ready?

Panther, panther,

Are you a flesh-finder?

Why are your hands,

Scavenged with blood?

Panther, panther,

Running wildly,

How of a rapid runner

Are you really?

Panther, panther,

Roaring loud,

Is it true,

Your the roughest roarer?

Panther, panther,

With consuming canines,

How oh how,

Do you pounce on your precious prey?

Panther, panther,

Vantablack eyes,

How come everytime your seen,

My soul begins to scream?

Panther, panther,

Nibbled nose,

How’s it possible,

For you to sniff out my clothes?

What am I?

I lurk whilst calmly camouflaging into the night sky.
I wordlessly continue as silently as the stealthy-stalker,
I’m a rough-roarer, rapid-runner
I’m a flesh-finder, bone-cruncher
I’m defensive to my claws of panthers,
My retractable claw scavenged with scarlet blood,
My eyes are like a vantablack sinkholes,
I have a shiny coat running along my bulletproof body,
My nibbled nose smelling startled souls shaking with anxiety,

The ferocious tiger

Forest rumbles, as the ferocious tiger lurks in all directions.

It’s cruel claws scavenged through-out with scarlet blood

Its flesh-finders sniff closer and closer towards earthlings.

It’s canines, as keen as the tip of a pencil.

The fire amber eyes staring directly into your screaming soul.

Its wiry waving whiskers spiking to give out free papercuts

It patiently awaits as the sunset dies.
