Tim

Tim loved the countryside. Every day in the summer, he ran through the field. The fields were full of bright flowers red, brown and purple. All the flowers began to blossom and he missed the busy city even though it was not as quiet and peaceful there.

At night, Tim went to the woods to see Arslan. They sat together, looking at the beautiful stars and listening to the night. Sometimes, she ran off to catch a wild bear and deer.

Tim worried that someone might find Arslan. During the day, she hid in the big bushes. At night she hunted for food because it was much safer.

One night Tim heard a loud growl and a scream.  He ran into the forest as fast as he could and saw Arslan,

ready to attack. A boy named Tom stood shaking anxiously. Tim whispered. He held out a piece of meat  to calm Arslan. Tom ran away as fast as could.

Tim‘s heart raced. Now the secret was exposed. That night Mrs Emily and Tim made a plan. Was  their plan going to work?

Tim

Chapter 2-

Tim looked at the big orange cat. Her yellow eyes glowed like lightning. Her sharp claws curled like  the moon. Her fur was as thick as sharp nails. She stepped closer and closer. She  sniffed Tim’s leg. He froze.

“She likes you,” said Mrs Emily, as the big brown cat ran into the cornfield.

As they walked home, Tim felt eyes on him.

“She’ll  be watching,” said Mrs Emily. “I found her when she was a little cub, lost in the forest. Someone set her free because they could not look after her. I took her in and kept her a secret. If people saw her, they might be horrified. They might kill her.”

That night, Tim dreamed of the orange cat, her fiery eyes in the dark. He felt afraid, but also safe.

Every night, Tim brought her food. He  learned to catch wild bears and deers.

One night, she let Tim touch her fur. Soon, she was rubbing against him, purring

Mrs Emily watched as the wild cat and wild boy became  best friends, Their secret made them very special.

Dear Dad

Dear Dad

Thank you for the hot chocolate. I drank it on the train to a village called Farmasies. It kept me warm.

The  village is Small and has  a lot of animals.

I am staying with Mrs Emily on a small farm. We get milk from the cows and get eggs from the chickens. Mrs Emily is very kind and funny. She is looking after very well.

I sleep in the attic. I can see the hills from far away.  At night, I can hear the owls. I help Mrs Emily with so many jobs like feeding her animals and selling the eggs from the chickens. It is very peaceful here and I feel safe.

I go to a small school nearby. I am learning to write really well and be better at maths. Mrs Emily gives me lots of nice food. I like to play different games with my new friends

I miss you, Dad and Mum. I hope you’re okay. Please write back to me.

Love,

 Timmy

Toton Manor

Jake had a dream about his uncle calling him, but  he couldn’t reach him. He woke up in the barn with sunlight creeping in. Tommy, the talking cat, was already awake and told him they had to hurry because the professor was getting ready to leave in Jakehis skyship.

Jake, Tommy, and Night Theory crept to the skyship and saw the professor loading a metal box on board. They followed him and found the magical designs inside the metal box. The professor spotted them and came running, shouting angrily. Jake quickly untied the ropes, and the skyship floated into the beautiful sky.

Down below, they found uncle Paul tied up. Jake set him free, and he took control of the skyship. He said they would report the professor to the police immediately. As the skyship flew over fields and villages, snowflakes started falling. Jake smiled, happy to be with his uncle again.Night Theory curled up and went to sleep, relieved.

Totton Manor.

Tommy sat glumly in the coal in the basement  while Jake worked hard, searching for a way to escape. He tried shouting through the little, glass window but  it didn’t work. Tommy tried to unlock the door while Tommy stayed lost in his thoughts.

Jake snapped at Tommy to help, but he only muttered that escape was impossible. As evening turned to night, the coal basement grew dark, and shadows crept across the room. Outside, the moonlight lit up  the gardens of Totton Manor.

Suddenly, they heard a noise outside. Tommy appeared at the window. Jake  wound him up, and he dropped a key into his hand and the children crept outside. They ran across the lawn and escaped to an old barn, with Tommy leading the way.

Safe in the barn, they made a fire and talked about their next steps. Where was the mysterious clock? What were. Uncle Paul’s plans for the airship?  And where had he gone?

The Axolotle Octopus

The Axolotle Octopus is a very rare species because they prefer to hide in little caves in the ocean and seas, away from sea animals and humans. Interstingly, the Axolotle Octopus can shoot ink from its Octopus arms to scare away predators trying to harm it. In addition,  the Axolotle Octopus can sleep up to 15 hours a day. Weirdly, even though the Axolotle Octopus is a very peaceful and quiet creature, who tries not to harm anything, still has to hunt for food on a daily basis. You may ask what does it hunt? It hunts small fish to eat. The Axolotle Octopus doesn’t have a big appetite and doesn’t need big portions of food every day. Did you know the Axolotle Octopus can go without eating for more then 15 days, it is amazing what these creatures are capable of. Amazingly, the Axolotle Octopus head is stronger then a human’s whole body, now that is amazing. Consiquently, this means that an Axolotle Octopus could break a brick wall with just its head. On the other hand, the Axolotle Octopus’s legs are only useful for speed and aren’t that strong for defence against predators trying to harm the Axolotle Octopus. Also, another use for the arms of the Axolotle Octopus is all the slime to help it against predators by making the predator not being able to see and help the creature run away to survive. Furthermore, the Axolotle Octopus fins also help the creature swim away faster. In conclusion, the Axolotle Octopus is a very peaceful creature and has many interesting features to help it in it’s exciting life.
