You are shimmering blue eyes, like pools of fresh water.

You are a wet nose, small and shiny, like a little black button.

You are pointy ears, like the tips of two enormous mountains.

You are thick, long whiskers, as white as my Grandma Fiona’s long hair.

You are a purple collar, with a name tag that sparkles like a star in the night sky.

You are gorgeous ginger fur, like the colour of Autumn leaves falling from the trees.

You are a tremendous tail, as long as a slithering snake.

You are four paws, as soft as a bedtime pillow.

You are long claws as sharp as a kitchen knife.

You are the cutest little pussycat

You are my best friend

Meow.
