The Hungry Dragon

He lifted his big head

It was huge and blocked the sun.

Piercing eyes, searching for food.

Strong jaws opening wide.

Razor sharp teeth all ready to eat.

Long claws stretched out

Prey is in sight.

Pointy tail swipes and  hits it hard.

Gnawing away till bones remain.

Wings open wide flapping in the cold wind.

Sun shining down on the colourful scales

All peaceful,  quiet and full.
