The Devious Dragon
The dragon stops,
it’s as still as statuesque trees.
Blood red scales cocoons the beastly brute,
Like a puny caterpillar transforming into a colossal butterfly.
Menacing eyes stare wickedly
like a leering lion.
A treacherous tail protrudes out of the dragons back side and nestles him
Like a swaddled tiger cub.
Translucent wings rapidly flap
Like a vulture heading for the clear blue sky.
Crescent claws curl on the dragon’s limbs
Like an owl’s sharp talons.
Disgusting teeth fill the dragons mouth
Like an old skip.
