We must be prepared

For when it is declared.

The raging beast could come anytime,

Beating wings like that of a heartbeat

but just a view  infinitely sublime

It’s the dragon call

It would call out first , then begin , begin its journey towards our floating city

It always came here,though there was no propinquity

It would be so close we would see its large head and its fearsome teeth ,

A powerful jaw and the sharpened claw

It’s the dragon call

Could you then  move , dare to hide or even run ?

This exprience may sound exciting , the truth is it’s anything but fun.

We’ll have to be like  immobile statues , waiting for i’ts honoured departure

However, it gets more difficult with each passing day , way more harder.

People believe this floating  safe-haven city remains a haven no more ,

But a evil-eyed floating rock , ” This is no safe- haven , but a island that is cursed !”

All I no is there’s nothing we can do to fix it or reverse

But the rumors of the heat come from the core

The earth itself begins to shivers , dark clouds huddle in the the sky when the sound of its talons and claws scrap the ground .

You could hear the pound,pound,pound.

At last a warrior stepped up, a dragon caller in fact,

Then things began to change, we knew when the beast was to come , and how to defeat and tame it .

We trained it to defend and our glorious mage well , he earned his title and his place

As the dragon caller (he even shapes his face to look like a dragons face ! )

As for the mighty dragon we named and remembered it by the dragon call .

That is the story of the dragon call and how our haven did not fall !
