The dragon stares

With eyes that are frightening

Like a menacing shadow.

It’s claws are

Like a pin going into

A balloon.

The skin looks like

Sizzling bubbles

In a pan popping

And bursting.

It’s teeth are

Like a piercing knife

Cutting through meat.

A tail that swings

Dramatically like

A whip.

It’s wings are like

A cloak covered with veins

That look like lines on a map.
