I want to paint…

I want to paint a big gorilla curving at the side of the tree,

I want to paint a cuddly kitten playing on a hot sunny day,

I want to paint a black Labrador chasing it’s tail while the whole family laughs,

I want to paint a Kangaroo looking after her babies on spring day,

I want to paint a bunch of books waiting to be chosen,

I want to paint the smell of lovely pastries escaping from the famous cafe in Paris,

I want to paint the memory of my grandmas home made cookie dough,

I want to paint the end of this poem…

The group of doors by George

Go and open the pewter door,
maybe there is-
and old building site,
a humble house for a little mouse
or a seal hunting for fish.

Go and open the marigold door,
there could be a tin of beans,
your dad’s carrot cake
or even the sunset.

Go and open the parakeet door
perhaps there is a parrot,
an emerald meadow
or a lime tree.

Go and open the pecan door,
there could be a coconut tree,
a herd of meaty cows
or the bark of a lonely tree.

Go and open the pearl door,
maybe there is a cloud of dreams,
a field full of snowy sheep
or even a river of creamy milk.

Go and open the orchid door,
perhaps a field of lavender is waiting for you,
a little bird in its mother’s nest
or even a present waiting for the time.

i have never swam in the ocean

I have never swam in the ocean 

 

I have never been swimming in a cold ocean but I have been swimming in a freezing cold river.

 

I have never seen a striped tiger but I have seen a slivering snake .

 

I have never been to Australia but i have been to Buckingham palace to see the queen .

 

I have never been to see a celebrity but I’ve been to the zoo to see  vious cute animals .

 

I have never eaten marmite but i have eaten lovely buttery croissants on a fancy dish .

I have never found the end of a colourful  rainbow,

but I have found an old picture of one.

 

I have never seen the milky way with a hundred twinkling,

but I have seen the northern lights in Iceland on a cold winter’s night.

 

I have never ridden a graceful,elegant Pegasus over a crystal clear lake,

but I have ridden my big,gray horse across muddy fields.

 

I have never seen ancient pyramids being built for ferros as they journey to the afterlife,

but I have seen a sarcophagus made from paper mashay I made for a school project in year four.

 

I have never touched  the crown jewels guarded in Louden tower with high surcratey,

but I have touched my mums beautiful wedding dress.

I have never drunk molten lava but i have drunk fizzy diet coke.

I have never climbed Mount Everest, but I have climbed up Molveley Hills.

I have never seen a dog dance, but I have seen a mother dance.

 

 

 

 

 

Through the door poem

Through the denim door,                                                                                                                                                    people sail on the sapphire sea                                                                                                                                          untill they get to the end of the lapis land.

Through the floating flaxen door,                                                                                                                      everything turns into gleaming green gold                                                                                                                       but it fell from the floor into a new… universe                                                                                                           the universe of luxury!

But i have been to school in gloomy mytholmroyd (England.)
