If I was summoned I would take …

If I were summoned
To create a treasure
I would take…

The purity of a fallen snowflake, from the peak of Mount Snowdon
The breath-taking heat from Santorini
The spray of a falling waterfall as the water gushes down the jagged rocks.

The purr of a feared cat
The snort of a muddy pig
The hangery grunt from a hippopotamus

The juice from a fresh apple
The soft crunch of sweetness from the haribo specials
The icy coldness of freshly pored sparkling water straight from the fridge.

The gentle, calm voice of my Mum as she tucks me into bed
The joy of cuddling down into clean, crisp bed sheets
The comforting flicker of the fire as the coals gleam invitingly to me.

I would take…

If I was summoned to the Earth to create treasures I would take:

The Lovely cuddles from your dog when he notices you are sad and feel like you are at the bottom of sea.

The lovely taste  when you place your tongue on soft cold ice cream.

The feeling of becoming the hero of the day when you do something well and your friends jump on you with happiness going through there bones.

The sight of seeing your best friend that you have not seen in for ages were , really you have just not seen them for 2 days.

That feeling when the sun hits your skin like meteorite, you then know it is going to be a good holiday.

Treasures

I would take my special map,                                                                       to find the best sap.

I would take my steel sword,                                                                        to slay the magical saws.

I would take my magical staff,                                                                         to fight the crystal jiraffe.

I would take my sandwich,                                                                           to keep me full in the desert of quicksand.

I would finally take my compass,                                                                to tell me wich way is North in the cave of glass.

My treasures

I would take the stars out of the sky, clinging onto the sparkly, rough ,yellow edges.

I would take my morning smoothie saving the taste of blueberries and strawberries in my mouth.

I would take my rabbit hugging tightly to his fluffy belly.

I would take my family giving them big hugs on the way,

I would take my clothes to keep me clean and dry.

What is rugged?

by Finley Rodmersham School

What is rugged?

The small coffee brown shell of my tortoise, the rough concrete beneath my feet and rocky grey cliffside  located in Scotland.

What is gentle?

The soft fall of an autmwn leaf gently reaching the ground, the vibrant corn snake slithering through the honey gold corn and a field mouse dancing and prancing through the summery marigold field.

Fin’s poem

If I was summoned

to create treasure

i would take:

the wing feathers of a eagle,

the rush of a tornado

and the song mood,

the grey swift brezzing mist,

the strength of a rhino nose

and a thick slice of cake,

the speed of Lewis Hamilton,

the size of a mansion

As small as a crumb.

Go open the door

I would take
A blue pen to write with,
the sky to swim with,
and a swimming pool.

I would take,
a silver memo from the queen,
the silver pen to write with,
and the silver bed to sleep on.

I would take,
the red drAvon to fly on,
the red blood from a vampire.

I wonder what is this and what is that?

What are good? An angelic angel and a helpful buzzy bee.

What are bad? A demonic demon and the haunted sea.

What are tall? A lemon giraffe, an orange crane and an apple tree.

What are tall? My 8ft dad, the Eiffel Tower and a colossal see-through ***********.

What are cold? An icicle being smashed by the Titanic, the snow as it hits the ground from a cloud and a fresh ice-cube being moulded in the freezer.

What are soft? A silk blanket, a mammoth teddy bear and the mozzarella cheese on a pizza.

Interesting things that are…

What are big? A school and an ocean.

What are small? A baby mule and an empty bottle of lotion.

What are long? The trail of a travelling snail, the wait from Monday to Sunday and the time it takes for a weeping willow to grow.

What are short? A ten minute wait, a three page long book and a pencil that has been sharpened over thirty times.

What are heavy? Three angry elephants all piled on top of each other, a hard, red-bricked school and an amazing tiger statue made of solid gold.

What are light? A soft feather slowly floating down from a tree top, a silk dress for a little child and a tiny piece of bread with a section of mould.

I would take

If I was beckoned to create a treasure

i would take:

The scales from a dragon

The fire from a phoenix

The roar from an ogre

The light of day

The song from the ocean

The pattern from an adder

The green from a forest

The orange of autumn

And finally the blue from the sky
